    Dear Latricia;

Mrs. P….. and I would like to thank you very much for the marvelous manners you showed in spending 2-1/2 weeks with us helping me with my recovery from a very serious accident.

Both of us were very pleased by the marvelous way in which you conducted yourself in a job which could easily have been obtrusive as well as demanding. You helped me so much in a very dignified and yet careful manner in all of my daily activities – dressing, living, eating and every other function – all of which were very difficult for me. You were always there and always helping me without ever being obtrusive yet always quite nearby. This could have been a very taxing period for me but it was not. Your carful yet very discreet, approach to me was always acceptable and correct. Neither of us could believe that anyone could be so perfect in that demanding job. We fully appreciate how difficult it must be to always be available but never intrusive. You are very clearly the best we ever seen in this regard.

Mrs. P…… and I wish you a very successful career. We know it will be successful because you have a way of doing it that is unexcelled. We wish you the very best and look forward to seeing you again (on a separate occasion that does not involve  another accident).

Both of us think most highly of you and we know you are a tremendous asset to your company.

    Cordially yours,

    W…….. P……..

  • Dear Chris Campbell,

For 3 weeks in October I had service from a caregiver from Right at Home.

I was very pleased. My caregiver was Everly and she must be your #1 person because she was great. She handled all the problems I had and was very attentive to all my needs, including getting  up and down from chairs and walking. In addition she was a nice person and we enjoyed TV and the Phillies together.

Thank you and I well recommend Right at Home to my Friends.

    Sincerely,

    D…. E. T…….

    Dear Phyllis:

Thank you so much for your assistance in providing care to our mother, B… S…, during her time at home. Our family found your organization to be very professional and compassionate and it was a pleasure getting to know everyone – Beth Ann, Sherena, Justine and of course you!

We appreciate you working with us to find a wonderful aide in Sherena to come to our home at 4AM! Sherena was the perfect aide for Mom – Sensitive and competent all as the same time. She possesses a special gift for helping others; she’s sincere, sweet and compassionate and of course her skills are top-notch. Our weekend aide, Justine was equally gifted and helpful, taking such good care of Mom and providing us with the support we needed as a family in caring for her as well.

Although our time working together was shorter that we expected, it was very comforting knowing that Mom was in very capable hands with Sherena and Justine. Thank you all very much for your support to our family during this trying time.

    Sincerely,

  • Phyllis:

I have been meaning to write you a quick note to thank you for your compassion during our encounter with my father.  I was impressed with how all of you made me feel that you really cared about my father--unlike the employees of G…. S…….  If only I knew then what I know now!

I did not appreciate how they dealt with my father and his "condition."  They continued to harass me about helping to pay for his 24/7 nursing care.

We finally moved him last Thursday (I had to wait for his traditional medicare policy to begin) to an Alzeimer's facility in Cherry Hill--right around the corner from my brother.  He was moved without shoes, meds or most of his clothing (which was marked with his name).  We could not wait to get him out of there!

I visited him on Saturday, and he is calm, peaceful and grateful.  It warmed my heart to see him in such a good place instead of what we witnessed at G….. S…….  I assume that the drugs took effect.  He still has extreme dementia, but he did know who I was even though he is unable to give me a name.  I am just so very grateful that he is no longer agitated and miserable.

I had just returned from Texas where I attended his sister's funeral.  When I told him that she had died, he blessed himself and tears streamed down his cheeks.  So, he is "in there."  Thank goodness the "zombie" that he became is hopefully in the past.

I apologize that I cannot remember your colleague's name, but please thank her for her assistance at the family meeting.  She was the only one that seemed to really care about my father.  The rest just wanted to get rid of him instead of trying to help him--with the exception of the doctor.  I liked her and will also communicate to her my gratitude for helping my father.

We can only hope that my father just does not wake up one morning.  I am hoping that his sister calls him home to her where the true paradise exists.

    Re: M…. K.. S…..

    Dear Phyllis,

The S…… family would like to thank your company and staff for the services you provided to my/our mother last month. We, as a family, were thankful that our mother was physically comfortable and that she was provided the companionship of RAH aides, Bethany B….  and Annett H….

Both Bethany and Annett were caring and my/our mother was comforted by their presence. Annette and Bethany also provided our distant family members an opportunity to communicate with my mom in final days.

We are very satisfied with the RAH aides. Bethany and Annette are both compassionate and courteous ladies. They certainly helped to make the best of the circumstances at this sad time in our family’s lives.

    Sincerely,

    M…  S…. and Family

    Mr. Campbell:

My employer offers me 90 hours of home health care every year. My sister is bed ridden so this weekend I booked with the vendor, V……, to have coverage for my sister Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This was to provide for me, her caregiver, a much needed weekend to have a break and get a lot done. Long story short, whoever they booked for Friday (not thru your agency) was a disaster and I was really, really upset. The people at V….. were trying very hard to get me some relief on Sat (no luck!) and on Sunday. Personally I did not feel there was much change – I know that booking for a weekend (during that weekend) is probably just about impossible. And so it proved to be…..

Which brings me to the subject of the email- your employee Patricia.

Patricia worked very very hard to provide us with a caregiver. Even though if did not work out I wanted to send you a not to tell you how impressed I was with Patricia. She cared, she tried and she stayed in touch with us. I am sure she can fill you in on the details of Sunday but I just needed you to know how comforting it was for me to deal with Pat – she obviously cared about us and did everything she could to help us. She represented your agency so well – very competent, professional and caring ……

My sister was admitted to U- Penn on Monday and will probably be in rehab for a bit. I just wanted to let you know, though, that Right at Home has moved to the top of my list of providers due to the experience I had with Patricia.

Thank you for letting me share my thoughts with you.

  • Cindy,

Just wanted to thank you for caring from my uncle G…. I know you were only there a few times (and did not see him at his best)- but my cousin F…. and Uncle G… were very very complimentary about how you handled yourself and still provided care form my uncle. It takes a certain set of qualities that allow you to do what you do. I am grateful you were in his life to help us.

My uncle was admitted to A…. Hosp fri 3/11 after a fall. He deteriorated over the next couple of days and we signed him over to hospice 3/17. He passed quietly early in the morning 3/18. He did get his wish to be with his son and wife.

I wish you could have known him in better times.

    Thank you!

    Dear Chris,

I am sure you now know of the passing of my sister M…. B…., in the early morning hours of Saturday, J…..  29. Yes, it was only a short time that M….. was under your care, but we could not have been more satisfied with the personal care that your employee Yolanda W…. provided my sister. Yolanda was there as every turn and always knew what to do and we developed complete confidence in her care skills. I now trust your organization and would recommend your services to my friends.

    Very truly yours,

  • Dear Phyllis,                                                                                       12/19/10

I can’t believe that it well be two years since I first spoke with you that weekend when mom fractured her back. The time sure does fly by and I will never forget the compassion you extended during that initial phone call!!

Many thanks o you, Patricia, Alice for the terrific service you continue to provide all year through.

This is a very small note of appreciation. My parents love the people they have met through RAH. In fact mom still remembers, even with her memory issues, the first  CNA which was Shantel with great warmth. Thanks again for all you do all year through.  It is greatly appreciated.

Whish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

    Fondly,

  • Dear Chris, Phyllis and Patricia,

Thank you so much for the beautiful and delicious fruit arrangement. Your thoughts and kind words really helped get us through the very difficult time. Mom loved the caregivers you provided and we were so happy to have them with over the last three years as well the last week.

  • I would like you to know what a superior and professional service you home aide specialist provided in caring for me in my home during my convalescing from shoulder surgery. This was not an easy task since I was not only immobilized from surgery but also paraplegic

Many thanks to Martina, my primary care specialist, who developed an awareness for my concerns and special needs and also to your support team that provided the same patient care services when she was not available.

Although I do not hope for a repeat visit anytime soon, I have no reservations in requesting you services again, if approached for recommendations , I will assure those that ask about the quality of services and professionalism that Right at Home provides for in home patient care services.

  • I wanted to thank Right at Home for helping take care of my grandmother after she fell and broke her toe.  She had a care taker named Myrial who was absolutely wonderful and took great care of my grandmother during a time where she could not care for herself.

Myrial was attentive, caring, personable and professional. Everything you could ever ask for when needing someone to take care of one of your loved ones.

If we ever need any care taker services in the future, we will not hesitate to contact Right at Home!  Thank you!

  • I think one thing you can't deny is knowing you've made a difference in someone's life. Whether in a post-op or hospice scenario you are truly adding to that persons quality of life. I love being a CNA and I enjoy being employed by Right at Home.

  • My first client was 89-years-old, and I ended up staying with her 24/7 until she passed away at the age of 92. I used to read the Bible to her, and we sang songs together because she used to be a choir director at her church. She wanted me to sing her favorite song – 'The Old Rugged Cross' – at her funeral. I did. I was with her when she took her last breath. It was such a sacred moment. I’ll never forget it. It just cemented this whole career for me and made me realize this was what I wanted to do.

  • I feel better about myself knowing that the care that I give may help someone live a happier life. My greatest reward is in knowing that my presence makes a difference.

  • It is an honor every day to serve others in their homes and provide them with the type of care that they deserve. Receiving the RightCare Award was another honor. It wouldn't have been possible if not for my clients. I always think of them first. I do my job because I love to do it and not because I expect to receive any gifts or an award. To me the award is just as special as receiving a smiley face from a client, showing their appreciation.

  • I was immediately impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere of the office and by the owner, who was very up-front and real. I felt very at home with her and very at ease. [The caregivers] are not just employees. We are family and a team. We look out for one another, and we look out for the owner as well. She is supportive of our situations and is always there to encourage us to grow in our experience and knowledge.
