PRN Nurses

We are looking for a number of RNs to work on an as needed basis. We need nursing services in three main areas 1) supervision of in-home aides; 2) client assessments and 3) in-home aide training. The PRN nurses will be needed when the Agency's part-time nurse is unavailable.

In-home aide supervision includes performing skills test during the hiring process; performing quarterly supervisory visits; being available by phone as the Service Supervisor and in rare cases visiting the home in an emergency situation to provide guidance to the in-home aide.

Client services involve an assessment of new personal care clients and completion of the PACT form along with development of a plan of care; quarterly visit to client; updating of care plan; and overall supervision of admission and discharge of clients. Assessments are done day or evening.

Training requirements involve participating for one hour to deliver and answer questions for blood-borne pathogen training.

Requirements Must be licensed RN in NC in good standing; preferred 1 yr. supervisory and home-care nursing experience. Flexible work environment.
