Who We Are

The Central Orange County, California office of Right at Home is a family owned and operated business that is absolutely committed to improving the quality of life for our clients and their families in the Newport Beach, Irvine, Santa Ana, Tustin and surrounding communities.  We are one of three Right at Home businesses covering the Orange County area and among 200 franchised operators of Right at Home, Inc., a senior home care company providing service since 1995.  Right at Home has been providing quality in-home care to families in Orange County since 2005.

The Central Orange County office is owned and operated by Jan and George Strickland.  We have lived in Orange County for the past six years.  Jan has a master’s degree in Social Work, and has over 20 years experience in hospice, elder care and private practice.  George brings 30 years of operations, management and executive experience to our company.  We have two grown children and are blessed with our first granddaughter.  As part of the “sandwich” generation, we know first-hand the challenges that occur as parents’ age and require additional assistance.  And, we are on-call 24/7 to meet the client’s needs.

We personally interview and meet regularly with our caregivers to ensure the best match with clients. We consider not only the caregivers, but the clients as part of our own family.   All caregivers are screened and tested.  Background checks further ensure that families have a comfort level with Right at Home caregivers and their ability to exceed all personal expectations.  And all caregivers are insured.  Additional training is provided so that special situations such as advanced medical conditions can be aided by caregivers who are experienced and possess that additional training.

Right at Home's staff were very professional, understanding, and helpful with my family; they were willing to go the extra step and to be contacted at all hours.
