  • I recommend Right at Home Central Maryland to all my friends and clients.  Steve and Carole Luber and the team at Right at Home were there for my family as my mother was in end stages of pancreatic cancer and requried increasing levels of home care through the last two weeks of her life.  The team responded quickly and brought the most compassionate caregivers.  Steve sent us a retired hospice nurse, who was with us helping us as mom took her last breath.  We had employed several agencies, in the last few years of my mother's life.  Right at Home stands out from the rest as all the Caregivers were happy to work with the Lubers, they felt respected and cared for and are enthusiastic about the company.  This spirit of enthusiasm, respect, and care is shared with the clients and families and truly makes a difference!

  • My first client was 89-years-old, and I ended up staying with her 24/7 until she passed away at the age of 92. I used to read the Bible to her, and we sang songs together because she used to be a choir director at her church. She wanted me to sing her favorite song – 'The Old Rugged Cross' – at her funeral. I did. I was with her when she took her last breath. It was such a sacred moment. I’ll never forget it. It just cemented this whole career for me and made me realize this was what I wanted to do.
