Right Processes

The Right at Home difference is found in our process. In very little time, we’re able to assess and understand your loved one’s unique situation and recommend a custom plan for your particular needs. This gets your loved one the care he or she needs as soon as possible.

Training, Education and Experience are important , some characteristics make all  the difference in whether or not a caregiver will fit into our organization. Successful employees exhibit these basic traits:

  • Light hearted – Can tell you a joke or a  relay a funny story  to brighten a client's day?
  • Happy – Successful caregivers are able to unwind and relax after a stressful day and arrive with a smile on their face and song in their heart with each new day.
  • Open-minded – Caregivers are good listeners and  strive to meet the needs of  vulnerable aging and disabled clients with a helping, 'friendly'  demeanor. Are open to  new ideas, requests as long as they're  not harmful to the client's health.
  • Healing – Are capable of seeking ways to make an ailing client feel better? A good caregiver will research ailments and make themselves better informed  to offer effective supportive care.
  • Flexibility - Can  adapt to the dynamic role of caregiver? View this video from a dementia expert to better understand the need for this trait.

Employment Screening Process

Right at Home selects only  top 10% of applicants thru stringent screening process.

The Caregiver Quality Assurance program requires  a closer look at the personality and behaviors of the caregivers that work in our homes. Companies displaying the Caregiver Quality Assurance seal use the most advanced screening tool available today in pre-employment assessment of caregivers, Leading Home Care's Caregiver Pre-employment Assessment.

Quality Assurance

Service is key to any  homecare agency. We succeed or fail based on how each person in our organization consistently follows a few simple agreed upon behavior standards from the initial call and meeting, to development of a custom  care plan, caregiver matching and consistently delivering care that meets a client's needs and expections in a respectful manner.  Right at Home has put in place  eight  QA Processes to meet the high expectations of our clients.
