Frauds and Scams Targeting Seniors

The North Carolina Attorney General’s office responds to 20,000 consumer complaints per year. The complaints are from citizens that believe they have been the victim of frauds, scams and unfair business practices. Many of these are seniors as they are seen as easy targets.
