In-Home Aides-CNAs/NA I preferred
Day-time and overnight opportunities. In-home aides of all levels being sought. Applicants with current CNAs preferred. Current clients in Durham and Chapel Hill.
The in-home aide may be requested to complete any of the tasks that follow:
- help with prescribed exercises which the client and in home aides have been taught by a licensed health care practitioner
- provide or assist with companion or personal care (i.e., bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair) depending on position
- assist with ambulation
- assist client with self administration of medications which are ordered by a physician or other person authorized by state law to prescribe
- perform incidental household services which are essential to the client's care at home
- record and report changes in the client's condition, family situation or needs to an appropriate health care practitioner
- complete homemaking tasks at the clients home
In Home Aide providing services requiring a Nurse Aide I certification shall:
- have a current NA I certification verifiable on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry
- have no negative incidents nurses registry or health care personnel registry of NC or any other state if registered in multiple states
- preferably possess six months experience as a Certified Nurse Aide in health care (in homes or facilities)
- CPR training preferred; required for assignment to certain cases
MUST HAVE CLEAN CRIMINAL BACKGROUND.
