Right at Home Recognized with Prestigious AARP Designation

Right at Home recently became the only home health care company in the country to be recognized as an AARP National Employer Team member. “This is a very prestigious award and validates our commitment to provide a working environment that values the talents and experience of 50+ employees and accommodates their needs,” says Allen Hager, President, Right at Home.
     
AARP has bestowed this recognition upon just 24 companies in the country. According to AARP, these companies were chosen because of their ability to “recognize that older workers make up a very important part of the workforce. They want to hire older workers because they know that [older workers] bring leadership, experience, and skills to do the job.”

“This award brings significant credibility to our entire organization,” says Blake Martin, Vice President of Franchise Development. “It confirms we understand the value seniors can bring to our company. These are employees who can empathize with our clientele; we have worked hard to provide an environment that is flexible to their needs and allows us to best utilize their talents.” Martin estimates that approximately 25 percent of Right at Home employees are 50+.
