The Safest Caregivers
At Right at Home of Mt Diablo, we believe that Minimum standards are simply Not Enough!
We assign only California-licensed Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to our clients requiring personal care. One benefit to you as our client is the peace of mind of knowing that the state licensing process (repeated every 2 years at renewal) includes fingerprinting and continuing education.
As a full service agency, we monitor and supervise our caregivers' performance through unscheduled supervisory visits by our RightCare Client Care Coordinators on all ongoing cases.
We are proud participants in Leading Home Care's Caregiver Quality Assurance Program,
and all of our cargivers are CQA-certified.
Our caregivers are our W-2 employees. This means that we pay all federal and state taxes, Social Security (FICA) and unemployment insurance. We do not issue 1099s.
We carry Workers Compensation insurance on all of our employees, and are responsible for any injuries to the caregiver while in your residence.
We verify that our caregivers are legally able to work in the United States.
We perform drug screening, pre-employment physicals, Hepatitis-B injections and TB testing through Muir/Diablo Occupational Medicine for all new hires.
We perform criminal background checks through ADP Screening.
We perform annual abuse registry checks.
As participants in the California State DMV Employer Pull Notifcation program, we receive a driver record upon enrollment of each new employee, annually from the date of enrollment, and ad hoc at the time of any actions against the driver's record such as accidents and suspension or revocation of driver's licenses.
We check caregivers' references from prior work history.
We carry full commercal and professional liability insurance including a theft bond for our employees.
Services are documented in daily care notes which are available for review by our clients and their family members.
We make every effort to hire the very best caregivers through an intricate hiring process which includes professional competency testing, two interviews, and a minimum of 4 hours orientation.
Fewer than 10% of all applicants make it through our application and screening process to become Right at Home caregivers.
Your Right at Home caregiver was wonderful. She was so helpful - and after working with many agencies - was the best caregiver from any agency that we had in the past year!
