Our Master Franchisees

Right at Home's business is based on our franchisees. Their success is our success. That's why we have a philosophy of "Franchisees First." We do whatever is possible to build and improve our franchisees' businesses. But don't take it from us. Learn for yourself what our franchisees have to say about our philosophies and practices.

Ken Deary, Right at Home UK

Ken Deary started Right at Home UK in 2010 in Preston, England.

Deary is a past McDonald's® franchisee, and received one of its most prestigious recognitions, The Golden Arches Award, in 2001.  In addition, he has been recognized as the Franchisee of the Year by the British Franchising Association.

"Right at Home is an outstanding company to work with and their people are motivated to be the best.  They have proven they can help us succeed in this highly competitive market," Deary acknowledged. "Right at Home and its franchisees share the same business philosophy, which is to deliver in-home care with 100 percent customer satisfaction. I am proud to be the first Master Franchisee and a key part of their initial international expansion efforts."

Eduardo Chvaicer, Right at Home Brasil

Eduardo opened Right at Home Brasil in 2010.   He has extensive experience in auditing, product development and health care management. He spent the majority of his career at Abbott Laboratories in Brazil where he held several marketing and product management positions in the customer service, nutrition and hospital divisions.

He holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and earned a bachelor's degree from Faculdade Candido Mendes / Brasil. "Right at Home is an outstanding company and their people are committed to delivering a home care experience that puts family caregivers and clients at ease," Chvaicer noted. "Right at Home and its franchisees work diligently to deliver upon their mission: To improve the quality of life for those they serve. I am confident Right at Home of Brazil will be very successful."

"I personally came to understand the challenges of elder care while facing issues with my parents," Chvaicer added. "Despite our cultural differences, elders in America and Brazil face many of the same challenges. Individuals and families are seeking compassionate and flexible in-home services that allow them to stay in a familiar and comfortable environment for as long as possible."

Yao Li, Right at Home China

Right at Home China became the first ever home-care franchise company in China when Yao Li opened her doors in Beijing in June of 2011.

Yao Li, is founder of the world renowned BN Vocational School, which provides free vocational education to underprivileged youth in China.  She is also founder and former CEO of the Beijing Yinda Property Management Co. Ltd., which manages more than 3 million square meters of commercial and residential property in China.

"Senior care is a hot issue in China," Yau Li acknowledged.  "In Chinese culture, it's the responsibility of the children to take good care of their parents.  So when I heard about Right at Home's business model in the United States based on caregivers helping elderly people in their homes, I became very excited about adapting that system for China."  Yao Li also noted, "I was very impressed and touched by Allen Hager.  When he heard we were interested in his business, he visited Beijing.  We both share the same values, so we feel like old friends and wanted to find ways we can work together."

Right at Home's staff were very professional, understanding, and helpful with my family; they were willing to go the extra step and to be contacted at all hours. I was amazed how quickly Right at Home was able to get a caregiver in my Grandparents' home and help them immediately. They went through the process of finding a quality caregiver that specifically fit my Grandparents' personality and needs. It was a pretty efficient process all around.
