Who We Are

The local Right at Home office is locally owned and operated by Ben and Cecile Kerber.  Both Ben and Cecile have lived in the area their whole lives.   Their mission is to improve the quality of life for you or your loved one by providing senior homecare consulting and elderly caregiving services.

Cecile Charbonnet Kerber is a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience.  Cecile with her healthcare background has seen the growing need to assist the elderly and disabled.  Her goal is to help them remain safe and independent while living in their own home or facility of choice.

Ben had personal experiences with his own grandparent's.  Ben helped out his grandfather after his grandmother passed away from a stroke.  "It was very hard on everybody.  My grandma was in great health but I think was overcome with caregiver burden and was worn out.  My grandpa was now by himself and it was very hard on him.  It would have been a stress relief for the whole family if Right at Home was available at the time." 

Ben and Cecile have been married for 8 years.  They have 3 children Madeline, Jackson, Benjamin Jr. and a dog.  Jackson is named after Ben's grandfather.  Their hobbies include school events, socializing with friends and spending time with family.  Ben also spends time as a volunteer coach for his kids at the local playground.

It is an honor every day to serve others in their homes and provide them with the type of care that they deserve. Receiving the RightCare Award was another honor. It wouldn't have been possible if not for my clients. I always think of them first. I do my job because I love to do it and not because I expect to receive any gifts or an award. To me the award is just as special as receiving a smiley face from a client, showing their appreciation.
