Testimonials

  • I do not have internet or a computer.  I've worked for Right at Home for almost a year.  I met Becky, Mark, Michelle, and Amanda from your NW Phoenix Office.  All of which are so pleasant and always helpful.  I appreciate my job.  It has been very interesting.  I'm learning a lot about my fellow older people (laugh).

  • My experience with Right at Home has been amazing.  I am so glad to have met Mark and Becky.  I just love being a part of their team.  I've never worked for anyone who actually appreciates their employees like they do.

I worked for a Foodservice Distributor Company in sales for 22 years.  Unfortunately, I was part of a reduction force program and I became unemployed for the first time in my life.  As a result I was able to devote time to caring for my Grandpa who was hospitalized after surgery at the young age of 98.  I visited daily to help him.  My mother said I missed my calling after watching me work with Grandpa.

After he was feeling better I looked into becoming a Caregiver, I took a Caregiving course and became certified.  I was immediately picked up by a Senior Assisted Living Community in Peoria and was promoted to med tech within six months.  I enjoyed my job and making the residents feel special.  I learned a lot in a short amount of time.  I grew attached to many of the residents as they did me.  I also learned that not everyone cares or has the same compassion needed to do this type of work.  I interviewed with Right at Home and I knew I would be a good fit.

Mark and Becky are in this business for the right reasons "To improve the quality of life for those we serve." There are so many people who feel lost, with a genuine need for our help and it feels good knowing we are meeting those needs and making a difference.

  • I wanted to thank Right at Home for helping take care of my grandmother after she fell and broke her toe.  She had a care taker named Myrial who was absolutely wonderful and took great care of my grandmother during a time where she could not care for herself.

Myrial was attentive, caring, personable and professional. Everything you could ever ask for when needing someone to take care of one of your loved ones.

If we ever need any care taker services in the future, we will not hesitate to contact Right at Home!  Thank you!

  • I think one thing you can't deny is knowing you've made a difference in someone's life. Whether in a post-op or hospice scenario you are truly adding to that persons quality of life. I love being a CNA and I enjoy being employed by Right at Home.

  • My first client was 89-years-old, and I ended up staying with her 24/7 until she passed away at the age of 92. I used to read the Bible to her, and we sang songs together because she used to be a choir director at her church. She wanted me to sing her favorite song – 'The Old Rugged Cross' – at her funeral. I did. I was with her when she took her last breath. It was such a sacred moment. I’ll never forget it. It just cemented this whole career for me and made me realize this was what I wanted to do.

  • I feel better about myself knowing that the care that I give may help someone live a happier life. My greatest reward is in knowing that my presence makes a difference.

  • It is an honor every day to serve others in their homes and provide them with the type of care that they deserve. Receiving the RightCare Award was another honor. It wouldn't have been possible if not for my clients. I always think of them first. I do my job because I love to do it and not because I expect to receive any gifts or an award. To me the award is just as special as receiving a smiley face from a client, showing their appreciation.

  • I was immediately impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere of the office and by the owner, who was very up-front and real. I felt very at home with her and very at ease. [The caregivers] are not just employees. We are family and a team. We look out for one another, and we look out for the owner as well. She is supportive of our situations and is always there to encourage us to grow in our experience and knowledge.
