Senior Homecare by Right at Home of Pasadena

Right at Home of Pasadena is a locally-owned and operated senior homecare franchise office of Right at Home Inc., providing care since 1995. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. We do that by providing high quality caregivers that deliver exceptional senior homecare.

Principals Bob Hingston and Diane Fortner-Hingston work diligently for the senior homecare needs of the Crescentaand San Gabriel Valleys.  We firmly believe that, like Right at Home founder Allen Hager, our precious seniors deserve quality homecare in Pasadena that allows them to live independently, securely and joyfully.   

Guiding us is this basic principal:  Give the best care possible to our community, family and friends, and to improve their quality of life, one client at a time. 

The Hingston family is the third generation to be raised in the Crescenta Valley.  We are extremely proud of our four adult children and grandchildren.  Bob’s father lives nearby and Diane’s parents live in San Marcos, California.   

It is our sincere pleasure to provide care to the elderly in the Pasadena, Crescenta and San Gabriel Valley areas that we call home, and to maintain the desired dignity and the quality of life our seniors deserve.

 

About Right at Home, Inc.

Right at Home started in 1995 by Allen Hager. For many years, Allen worked in health care as a hospital administrator. While in the hospital environment, he watched patients – especially seniors – leave the facility and return home, but not necessarily return to health. Once home, a lot of his former patients were unable to care for themselves.

Allen knew that with some homecare assistance, most of these people could lead healthy, happy lives and remain in their own homes. So, he talked to dozens of families to understand the different kinds of challenges they faced and what kind of care would help. Then he became a certified nursing assistant so he could experience the needs of people who were still living in their home but who needed some professional assistance.

In 1995, Allen started Right at Home in Omaha, Nebraska. Five years later, he started branching into other regions of the country by carefully selecting franchisees who shared his passion for caring for those in their community.

Right at Home now has more than 200 offices that serve thousands of clients across the United States and on four continents. 

I want to thank you for all you did for my father and me.  You were always kind, competent, professional and reliable.  In the few instances when we encountered any sort of difficulty, you always resolved the issue efficiently and painlessly.
