Katie Knittel Named RAH Caregiver of the Month

Right at Home (RAH) Sacramento/Yolo is proud to announce that Ms. Katie Knittel is a winner of the Caregiver of the Month award.

A veteran caregiver with Right at Home, Ms. Knittel was especially surprised to be a winner of Caregiver of the Month.

"I didn't expect to win it," she smiled, "Not that I didn't think that i'm not a good caregiver - because I think I am. I was just very, very surprised!"

"We were happy to see a quality caregiver like Katie win the award," replied company President Dan Parker, "We truly appreciate all of her efforts on behalf of her clients. It is a job well done."

RAH Care Supervisor Deborah Turner added: "Katie is so outgoing and really goes the extra mile for us. She was nominated because she provides wonderful care to her client, she has initiative, and according to her client, 'is just wonderful'."

Ms. Knittel's secret to being a good caregiver? "The secret to being a great caregiver is to bring compassion and kindness to your job." According to her, "I love that you can't spend time with your in home clients without learning something new each day."

Her next goal? "Really I hope to win the Caregiver of the Year Award. I really like being good at my job and being acknowledged for it. Thank you very much, Right at Home!"
