Dear Right At Home,
Since February 2014, it has been a pleasure and a blessing to have (Caregiver) as a part of our homecare team. She has been not just excellent at the task of taking care of our parents, but she is also genuinely caring and loving to them. She has treated them as if they were a part of her own family. Her genuine love and concern has made it so easy for us to work on a daily basis and not worry that our parents were well fed (she is an EXCELLENT cook), clean and most importantly… Happy !!
Before we started around the clock care for our parents, we will never forget how she would sometimes, stay a few extra minutes, waiting for one of our family members to arrive. (Caregiver) never complained and would just say with a big smile, “dad was a little active”, so she wanted to stay and help my mom rather than leave her alone to care for him.
Over the past two years, my mom has become less capable of caring for my dad, as her Alzheimer’s has progressed. (Caregiver) has stepped right in to fill that gap, always with that smile J and still including mom so that she doesn’t feel replaced.
We will miss her more than we could ever express and wish her God’s speed as she is welcomed into another family’s home. A home that she will, without a doubt, bless as she has ours.
