Right at Home Talks Senior Safety with KCRA
Dan Parker, owner of Right at Home Sacramento/Davis appeared on KCRA 3 to talk about in-home safety for seniors. According to the Centers for Disease Control, falls are the leading cause of both fatal and non-fatal injuries in older adults. For that reason Dan is passionate about fall prevention and helping seniors and disabled adults live safely and independently at home.
Dan spoke with reporter, Deirdre Fitzpatrick about the in-home safety assessments that Right at Home provides to clients. He also discusses some of his favorite products to help seniors prevent injuries. Simple changes such as good lighting and securing an area rug can go a long way to keep older adults safe.
