NPDA Free Consumer Family Webinar
On March 13, 2012, at 7 p.m. Central, the National Private Duty Association will host a Web conference (webinar) for family caregivers titled, “Depression and Older Adults – What Every Caregiver Should Know.” This live, interactive program will provide advice on ways family caregivers can work with professionals to identify this condition in a loved one and develop an effective plan of care.
The Web conference topics include:
- Diagnosis of depression,
- Association between depression, anxiety and memory loss,
- Understanding which medications are safe and effective; and
- Resources and tools for monitoring treatment and improvement.
