Judith Gilliam Appointed as NAD Board Region III Representative

NAD Partners with IRS - Four New ASL PSAs on the Economic Stimulus Payment
The NAD is partnering with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to make sure important information reaches the deaf community. The IRS has produced four new public service announcement videos and a short 1040-A instructional video in ASL with open captions and voice over. (10/10/08)

Victory! NAD Makes a Touchdown in Groundbreaking Redskins Case
In an opinion issued on September 30, 2008, a federal district court in Maryland held that the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires the Washington Redskins “to provide deaf and hard of hearing fans equal access to the aural information broadcast over the stadium bowl public address system.” (10/02/08)
