Testimonials

  • I give the highest recommendation to Right at Home. My 94 year old mother recently returned to her independent living residence following a severe case of pneumonia and several weeks at a rehab hospital. She was extremely weak, depressed and suffering severe anxiety. She could never have continued to live independently without the support of Right at Home. A Right of Home manager/nurse met us at the hospital to develop the plan, consulted with the social worker, called us to confirm the arrangements prior to start-up, and personally introduced each aid who would be providing service.

  • Right At Home has been such an amazing help to our parents and our entire family. Our mother at first was very reluctant to accept the fact that she needed outside help and only permitted us to start with someone 2 mornings per week. In just a few short months, my mother requested that Right at Home come three, then four, then five days per week, as our father's dementia worsened. Our parents and our entire family grew to trust and love this caregiver, who has become an indispensable companion working tirelessly to provide a high level of in-home care. She is ALWAYS punctual, runs errands, brings our parents to appointments if we can't, keeps the house neat and clean, cooks wonderful and healthy meals, keeps our father on a consistent schedule, and most importantly, shows compassion, companionship and conversation, taking an interest in our parents' lives and their happiness and overall well-being.

  • I give the highest recommendation to Right at Home. All staff workers spoke English as a first language and all developed close relationships with my mother. Gradually, we were able to taper down the services (which started as almost 24/7) as my mother regained her independent living skills.

...we, are much more at ease knowing that compassionate and professional caregivers are taking such wonderful care of our Mom and Dad.

  • I wanted to thank Right at Home for helping take care of my grandmother after she fell and broke her toe.  She had a care taker named Myrial who was absolutely wonderful and took great care of my grandmother during a time where she could not care for herself.

Myrial was attentive, caring, personable and professional. Everything you could ever ask for when needing someone to take care of one of your loved ones.

If we ever need any care taker services in the future, we will not hesitate to contact Right at Home!  Thank you!

  • Having Right at Home help care for Mom was such a great comfort for my sister and me because we felt that she was never alone when we couldn’t be there. As much as Libet and her team helped Mom, I think we were the true beneficiaries of their compassionate care during this difficult time. Right at Home helped us focus on Mom and not her declining condition.

  • I can’t say enough good things about Right at Home and the excellent quality of their caregivers; compassionate, thoughtful and kind. Caring for my cousin had been a challenge because I live so far away. Working with Right at Home has been a great experience for me and my family.

  • I think one thing you can't deny is knowing you've made a difference in someone's life. Whether in a post-op or hospice scenario you are truly adding to that persons quality of life. I love being a CNA and I enjoy being employed by Right at Home.

  • Libet and her team of caregivers have been a great resource for me and my family. They have been very responsive to the needs of my wife and have been very supportive by helping me care for her. The quality of the caregivers has been first rate.

  • When we learned that my mother's diagnosis was terminal, my sisters and I were at a loss and not sure how we could honor her wishes to come home. Right at Home and Hospice made that wish possible and made a very difficult time for my family far more bearable.

  • I want to give Libet Callahan a HUGE hug every day because I’m so thankful that I chose Right at Home to help care for my parents. I cannot express the admiration I feel for the compassionate care Libet and her caregivers provide through their words and actions when caring for my parents. I’m very appreciative of their dedication and all that they do to improve the quality of life for my parents (and me).

  • The fact that Libet Callahan is both a RN and President of Right at Home was clearly evident in the quality of the care my father received. The caregivers were wonderful, well trained and reliable and took exceptional care of his needs. Right at Home helped improve my father ‘s quality of life and provided me with peace of mind knowing that he was in good hands while I was at work. I could not have done it without their assistance.

  • My first client was 89-years-old, and I ended up staying with her 24/7 until she passed away at the age of 92. I used to read the Bible to her, and we sang songs together because she used to be a choir director at her church. She wanted me to sing her favorite song – 'The Old Rugged Cross' – at her funeral. I did. I was with her when she took her last breath. It was such a sacred moment. I’ll never forget it. It just cemented this whole career for me and made me realize this was what I wanted to do.

  • I feel better about myself knowing that the care that I give may help someone live a happier life. My greatest reward is in knowing that my presence makes a difference.

  • It is an honor every day to serve others in their homes and provide them with the type of care that they deserve. Receiving the RightCare Award was another honor. It wouldn't have been possible if not for my clients. I always think of them first. I do my job because I love to do it and not because I expect to receive any gifts or an award. To me the award is just as special as receiving a smiley face from a client, showing their appreciation.

  • I was immediately impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere of the office and by the owner, who was very up-front and real. I felt very at home with her and very at ease. [The caregivers] are not just employees. We are family and a team. We look out for one another, and we look out for the owner as well. She is supportive of our situations and is always there to encourage us to grow in our experience and knowledge.

Right at Home goes the extra step with their clients to provide quality caregivers, which is rare in the environment today. They provide a personal, hands-on relationship with each and every person they care for - starting from the first day working with the client - when they personally visit their home.
