Hypertension/Stroke
The best strategy for controlling and preventing high blood pressure is to begin with lifestyle changes. For seniors, this often means a combination of light exercise and medication. Right at Home can prepare a customized hypertension program to promote a healthier lifestyle, including:
- Development of a light exercise schedule
- Coordination of a healthy meal plan
- Shopping
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders

I give the highest recommendation to Right at Home. My 94 year old mother recently returned to her independent living residence following a severe case of pneumonia and several weeks at a rehab hospital. She was extremely weak, depressed and suffering severe anxiety. She could never have continued to live independently without the support of Right at Home. A Right of Home manager/nurse met us at the hospital to develop the plan, consulted with the social worker, called us to confirm the arrangements prior to start-up, and personally introduced each aid who would be providing service.
