Right at Home Twin Cities Caregiver Helps Fulfill Client’s Dream

Right at Home Twin Cities caregiver Greg Schaffner helped his client, Jim Baker, of Edina, Minnesota, accomplish his dream of building a wooden boat. More than 30 friends and family recently watched Jim and Greg launch the boat on its maiden voyage at Lake Harriet. Jim named the boat Therapy, as the building process helped Baker during his recovery from a life-threatening stroke. This great story was featured in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune.

“This is a great example of how our caregivers go that extra step to develop close companionships with our clients,” said Paul Blom, owner of Right at Home Twin Cities. “We are inspired by Greg’s efforts to improve the quality of life for his client.” For more information about in home care in the Twin Cities area, contact Right at Home.
