Certified Nurses Aide
Essential Functions
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include ( but are not limited to):
1. Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing,care of mouth, skin, and hair)
2. Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
3. Assisting with the change of ostomy appliances
4. Reinforcement of dressings
5. Ambulation
6. Eating 7. Dressing 8. Shaving 9. Taking vital signs
10. Measuring and preparing special diets
11. Application of an external catherter
Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limiteed to):
1. Vacuuming, doing dishes, changinging bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning kitchen.
2. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
Qualifications:
1. High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
2.Successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies.
3. Current CPR Certicate is preferred.
4. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
5. Ability to read, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
6. Ability to take and read vitals.
7. Possess a valid Michigan driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
Pay Rate
