Debbie Kenny - Managing Member

Being in business is almost second nature for Debbie Kenny because she comes from a family of entrepreneurs, including both parents being very successful business owners. Debbie is one of the founding members of Alianza Family Services, LLC and her joy since 2003 has been to support individuals with developmental disabilities to enjoy their best life. While she strives to consistently deliver outstanding results, her energy has been primarily focused on supporting caregivers to be successful. At Alianza Family Services, Debbie watch aging parents and caregivers face new challenges with everyday activities. At the same time, Debbie became the primary support for her parents as they age and realized the tremendous need to help families care for their loved ones with dignity and respect. As she searched for ways to help, she found Right at Home and realized this company shared her passion for improving the quality of life for others. Family is what balances Debbie. She is completely dedicated to her husband, Chris Kenny, and her two boys, Thomas and Conor Kenny. Debbie is equally passionate about animals, especially dogs, and is known to bring home strays despite her husband’s wishes. For her own mental health, she likes to ski, hike, ride bikes, scrapbook and take pictures.

Tim Shultz - Managing Member

Tim has been a professional do-gooder since 1996 when he fell in love with his first job as the director of a small emergency food pantry. He went on to work for several non-profit organizations in various capacities including as an advocate for anti-poverty programs, a program director implementing anti-hunger projects in partnership with state and local governments, and eventually as executive director for a local chapter of the United Way. He later co-founded Alianza Family Services, an agency that serves adults with developmental disabilities under New Mexico’s DD Waiver program. His passion for caregiving eventually led him to Right at Home. Tim is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and the occasional ultramarathon.

Ariel Castillo - Operations Manager Right at Home Albuquerque

Ariel Castillo - Chief Operations Officer

Ariel is the Chief Operations Officer of Right at Home and has been part of the team since 2010. She works closely with our office team and care staff to ensure that all clients and referring professionals have an exceptional care experience. Ariel’s interest in the social and healthcare needs of the sick and elderly have led her to the profession. She has extensive experience in both human resources and case management. Ariel is a graduate the University of New Mexico and has a bachelor's degree in family studies and human development. From personal experiences with her own family, Ariel has become a compassionate and understanding advocate to those who require a trusted partner in home care. Ariel’s biggest joy in life is her family. She is the proud wife of a marine veteran and a dog mom to 3 rambunctious pups.

Kelsey Zavala - Administrative Assistant

Kelsey Zavala - Employee Care Manager

Kelsey joined the Right at Home team as a caregiver in 2012. Through her years with Right at Home, Kelsey has cared for many families, making her one of our most experienced and skilled members. Kelsey began working as our Administrative Assistant in the fall of 2018. What Kelsey loves most about her job is the history and stories each client and family shares. In her spare time, Kelsey loves exploring interior design and caring for her pets.

Samantha Allen - On Call Supervisor

Samantha Ellen - On Call Supervisor

Samantha is our On Call Supervisor. She is responsible for answering calls and coordinating care outside of normal business hours. Samantha started with Right at Home in 2011 as a caregiver, but quickly moved up to different managing positions. Though she takes great pride in her work, Samantha’s greatest achievement is her family. She loves spending time with her husband and five children. You can often find her volunteering in her children's schools as well as helping with her sons boy scouts program.

Deanna Espinosa Community Outreach Manager

Deanna Espinosa - Community Outreach Manager

Deanna began her journey with Right at Home in 2014, when she started as a caregiver and eventually became our Community Outreach Manager. Through her journey with our company, she attended The University of New Mexico where she has earned a bachelor’s in Communications with a focus in Interpersonal Communication. Prior to graduating, Deanna took some time away from caregiving to pursue one of her many passions, traveling. She continued her education in California, while working for Disney. After moving back to New Mexico, she ventured back to our Right at Home team where she continued to care for clients and attend school. From Deanna’s many years of working with the elderly, she has continued to be compassionate, and energetic to help in all aspects of their care. Her greatest joy is exploring the unknown through education and travel.

Maria Chavez - Senior Staffing Coordinator

Maria grew up in a military family. She traveled and lived overseas during most of her childhood. The diversity of people she encountered gave her a passion to work in human services. As an adult, Maria saw the need for homecare in her own family. Maria studied at New Mexico State University where she focused on mental health disorders and medicine. Maria has 17 years experience in senior care. During her many years in the caregiving field, Maria has served side by side with clients, directed activities in facility care, and trained and mentored junior staff. Maria joined Right at Home in the fall of 2019. She serves our clients and caregivers by assisting them with their scheduling needs. Maria enjoys bonding with our caregivers and seeing the relationship between client and care staff grow. In her spare time, Maria enjoys spending time with her active 3 children and making a change in the world for the better.

Erica Hall - Assistant Staffing Coordinator

Erica is our Assistant Staffing Coordinator. Erica began working for Right at Home in June 2020, and works side by side with our Senior Staffing Coordinator. Erica works diligently to schedule our caregivers with appropriate clients. She enjoys being able to create a work environment where both our caregivers and clients thrive. Prior to coming to Right at Home, Erica worked as a fire department emergency response dispatcher and a staffing coordinator for a home health company in Las Cruces, NM. When Erica is not at work, she enjoys spending time at home or with her dogs.

Timothy - Client Care Coordinator

Timothy Jurgensen - Client Care Coordinator

Timothy joined Right at home in 2019. He is the Client Care Coordinator and he loves that he gets the opportunity everyday to work with clients and their families to ensure they receive the best possible care. He graduated from Biola University in Southern California in May of 2019 and studied Christian Ministries (Non-Profit Organizing) as well as Psychology. He recently moved back to Albuquerque, where he grew up, to be closer to family and joined Right at Home with a desire to leverage his heart for helping others in a tangible way. In his free time he loves to spend time with family and friends, as well as doing anything outdoors, including hiking, camping, backpacking, and body surfing.

Sarah Johnson - Client Care Coordinator

Sara joined Right at Home in the summer of 2020, and serves as our Client Care Coordinator. Sarah has 19 years of healthcare experience including curative, palliative, psychiatric and hospice care. Working with clients and families is her passion and life’s work in using her skills and resources to better the lives of others. As Client Care Coordinator, she will conduct the initial assessment with the family and manage ongoing needs to ensure the best quality care is provided. You will see and hear from Sara often as she will follows up with our clients through home visits and phone calls. In Sara’s personal time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, walks with her dogs and spending quality time with family.

Cindy King-Cordova - Administrative Assistant

Cindy is our Administrative Assistant and the friendly voice you will hear when you call our office. Cindy was raised in Artesia, NM. After graduating she moved to Albuquerque and went to Cosmetology school. She enjoyed a 40 year career in the salon industry in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Espanola, but her passion was owning and managing salons in senior living communities. After many years she developed a chemical sensitivity and had to make a change in careers. Cindy began working as Lead Concierge at a resort style independent living community, and loved the personal interaction with the residents and meeting their needs. Cindy left her role as lead concierge to became a primary caregiver for a family member, a very special time for her and her aunt. Cindy joined the Right at Home team in the summer of 2020, where she enjoys being the first person to greet our guests and callers . Whether on the phone or in person, you can always bet that Cindy will greet you with a warm smile. In her spare time she enjoys the company of family and church, and road trips with her daughter and faithful pup Jenny.
