General Office Assistant (Part-Time)

The General Office Assistant will perform various activities related to the maintenance of associate and office records for company business. This is a part-time position.

Essential Functions:

  • Audits, collects and follows up on client monthly paperwork
  • Answers telephone, directs calls and takes messages using good telephone technique
  • Greets and assists everyone who comes into the office in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assists Marketing Director with data entry, mailings, correspondence, etc.
  • Handles incoming/outgoing mail
  • Prepares new hire packets, new client homecare record books, and client information packets
  • Assists with the mailing of monthly paperwork to clients
  • File client and associate paperwork on a weekly basis
  • Responsible for keeping office area & conference room tidy

Additional Functions:

  • Attends weekly staff meetings
  • Additional duties assigned by the Operations Manager
  • Special projects as needed

Education and Experience:

  • High School graduate and minimum of one year of business experience
  • Basic office and computer skills
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
