Here at Right at Home, we believe that our Caregivers should be treated with the same respect and compassion as our clients. After all, you're the face of our company providing the hands-on care, and we would not be able to provide high-quality for our clients without you. Right at Home's mission to "Improve the quality of life for those we serve" goes beyond care for clients to include our Care Staff.

We accomplish this goal by providing the following benefits to you:

Flexible Scheduling: Decide which days and times work best with YOUR schedule. Kids out for summer? Change your schedule by adding more hours to your schedule or even work less so you can spend time with your family.

Part-Time and Full-Time Positions: Supplement your existing income by working part-time or work full-time at 40 hours per week! We also have P.R.N. (as needed) shifts, so you never have to commit to a schedule long-term. Overtime is sometimes available, too, if care staff pick up last-minute shifts!

Mileage Reimbursement: When driving for clients, or traveling from client-to-client, receive travel time and/or mileage reimbursement while you work. Our system automatically calculates travel time, which means less work for you. Keeping track of your mileage for driving clients is easy to track. Those miles add up!

Competitive Pay: New employees start at $10.00 per hour. C.N.A.’s (licensed in the State of Texas) starting wage is $11.00 per hour. We hold our caregivers to a higher standard, which also means we compensate for meeting our expectations. Post-hire, we conduct a 30-Day Review and a 90-Day Review at which times our Care Staff are eligible for pay raises. We also pay 50 cents more per hour on weekends!

Weekly Pay and Advances: Our pay period is Sunday through Saturday, and you are paid every Friday following the pay period - weekly pay for everyone! In addition, if a Care Staff Member is in good standing, you’re eligible for pay advances for hours worked with Right at Home. Sometimes life throws unexpected curves your way, and our Office Team is here to help. We also offer direct deposit.

No Weekends Required: Although we provide pay incentives, it is never required for our Care Staff to work weekends. We understand that your time with family is valuable and you may have other commitments.

Ongoing, PAID Training: Here at Right at Home, we are always learning and improving our skills. We provide ongoing paid training in our office, at least on a quarterly basis. We also partner with local Home Health and Hospice agencies to provide illness-specific training for our Care Staff. As an employee of Right at Home, you’ll also have access to HUNDREDS of online training videos so that you can learn (and get paid) on your own time.

On-the-Spot Training: Having someone come into your home can be hard. Going INTO someone’s home can also be hard. Right at Home offers paid “meet-and-greets” and on-the-spot training for new Care Staff and New Clients. This ensures that both parties are comfortable with the match and that you are properly trained for the specific needs of the client. We want you to succeed!

Supplemental Insurance: Working in the healthcare field, we know how important your family’s health is to you. Once employed with Right at Home for 90 days, you and your family are eligible for supplemental insurance through Colonial Life. These plans are very affordable and available to Care Staff who work consistently at only 20+ hours per week! Colonial Life Plans that are available include:

  • Accident insurance helps offset unexpected medical expenses that can result from a covered accidental injury
  • Cancer insurance helps offset covered out-of-pocket expenses related to cancer
  • Dental insurance provides the same benefit amounts with any dentist you choose and covers a variety of dental procedures from routine cleanings to more advanced procedures. This plan also covers vision
  • Disability insurance can replace a portion of your income to help make ends meet if you become disabled from a covered accident or covered sickness
  • Term life insurance offers a predictable way to provide more coverage at more affordable prices during high-need years

Large Service Area: Our Right at Home office covers parts of North Austin (Travis County) and all of Williamson County. We have clients in the following areas – North Austin, Bartlett, Cedar Park, Florence, Georgetown, Granger, Hutto, Jarrell, Jollyville, Killeen, Leander, Liberty Hill, Nolanville, Round Rock, Salado, Taylor, Wells Branch. Other areas may be available and are subject to availability. Inquire within.

Caregiver Events: Our Right at Home office hosts an annual Holiday Party for our Care Staff and one guest. This celebration is for our team to celebrate and engage with one another on a more casual level. We also host several Care Staff and Family events throughout the year.
