Caregiver Spotlight – Billy
Let's celebrate Billy, our fantastic caregiver, who loves spending time with his nine wonderful grandkids. One of his cherished memories at Right at Home is the close bond he shared with a special client, whom he misses dearly. Billy fell in love with caregiving while taking care of his mom with Alzheimer's, and he continues to provide compassionate care with the same love and dedication. His journey at Right at Home has taught him the invaluable lesson of patience. Thank you, Billy, for your unwavering commitment and kindness!

When she's not working, Araceli loves to dive into a good book or play beautiful melodies on the piano. One of her most cherished moments as a Right at Home caregiver is knowing she can make a real difference in her clients' days. She appreciates the balance Right at Home offers, allowing her to manage her personal time and family while doing a job she loves. Since joining, she's learned to take life one day at a time and never take anything for granted.

Meet Marika, our outstanding caregiver of the month! When she's not delivering exceptional care, she dedicates her time to looking after her sister and a veteran friend, showing us how committed she is to care of others. One of her most cherished moments as a Right at Home caregiver is witnessing the happiness and contentment of her clients. She appreciates working at Right at Home because of the supportive and high-quality team who guide and assist without being demanding. Since joining Right at Home, she has learned the value of professionalism, maintaining boundaries, and being a helpful resource to those in need. Thank you, Marika, for your unwavering dedication and compassion!
Caregiver Spotlight – Clementina
Clementina has been part of our team for a little bit more than a month and we wish our paths had crossed sooner! Every client that she had the chance to meet, always wants her back and willing to completely change hours just to have her! But this is not a surprise, Clementina loves being a caregiver and that’s why she makes her best to really understand her clients, get to know even their favorite food, care and be kind to them.
Clementina is enjoying doing her own home renovation and as the 1 fan of Jane Austen’s writing, she spends her free time watching movies inspired on her novels and eating fruits and veggies with chili, and sometimes going to bowling.
She advices to new generations of caregivers to be especially attentive to their client’s needs, to what they like and enjoy, and be kind no matter what.
Caregiver Spotlight – Ciera
This is Ciera! They have been part of our team for 6.5 months, and we look forward to many more months together. When not working, they cherish moments spent with family—whether it’s a cozy dinner or a laughter-filled movie night. Football is their passion! Although they don’t have a specific team preference, the adrenaline rush of enjoying a match is electric for them. Offer them a bar of silky milk chocolate or a bag of crispy chips, and they’ll be in heaven. Sometimes, life’s simple pleasures are the sweetest.
As a Right at Home caregiver, one of their cherished memories is being one-on-one with clients. Sharing stories, laughter, and genuine connections make this journey meaningful. If their 90-year-old great-grandmother were still with us, she would be taking care of them, and they inspire them to care for every client as their own. Ciera advises the new generation of caregivers to always give their best, showing care not only through skills but also with their heart. Building trust and being dependable ensures they never miss a chance to make a difference.
Ciera is our Bastrop Caregiver of the month because of their loving and caring personality, they are dedicated to work and clients, and are always ready to help, even after long live-in shifts! Just outstanding!
