Owner of Right at Home Bucks & Montgomery Counties
Right at Home of Bucks and Montgomery Counties opened in 2011. Jerry Lawson, owner of the office, has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and human resources industries. Jerry formerly worked in a Fortune 500 healthcare company as an executive; through the experience, he witnessed how proper care can have a positive impact on seniors in need.
After a joint-replacement surgery, Jerry’s belief in quality home care becomes even stronger. He believes that reliable at-home care can not only make a difference, but is also essential in a patient’s recovery and relapse prevention. The personal experience eventually motivated him to start a business in the home care industry with a special focus on seniors.
Jerry has been a resident of Bucks County for more than 30 years. He is a speaker for Alzheimer’s Association of Philadelphia, a board member for the local PennSuburban Chamber of Greater Montgomery County, and had served as a board member of the American Red Cross to lead fundraising efforts for a local homeless shelter.
At Right at Home of Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Jerry is joined by a team of dedicated caregivers who have extensive experience and expertise in support services. The team works with clients and patients with Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, congestive heart failure, Parkinson’s disease and many other ailments. Ongoing training is provided to all caregivers in the team. The practice keeps the team informed and makes sure that everybody has the tools to provide the best care to clients.
Right at Home of Bucks and Montgomery Counties also works with a registered nurse (RN) who conducts periodic checkups in specific situations. The registered nurse reports changes in a client’s condition on a regular basis, and provides timely feedback and instructions to caregivers.
