Your Career as a Caregiver

A Note about COVID-19

The Right at Home Langhorne Safety Committee was established to provide our caregivers with a safe working environment and our clients with a safe homecare experience. Each month our safety committee meets to discuss pertinent issues and concerns such as transferring clients, COVID and Flu vaccinations, emergency preparedness, all precautions and much more. The safety of our clients is our top priority.

Now, more than ever, it’s clear how essential caregivers really are. The people we serve rely on our caregivers, not just for companionship during a time of isolation, but also for assistance with their basic needs. Without dedicated caregivers, many seniors and adults with disabilities would be left with little support. You can make all the difference.

When you become a caregiver, no day will ever be exactly the same as the last. No matter what type of caregiving you provide, you will always have a wide variety of duties and experiences.

And that’s important to us.

Caregivers are the heart of our organization. We know our company couldn’t exist without you, which is why it’s so important to us to keep your passion strong and to ensure your needs are met.

Halloween Party 2023

It's important for our office team to connect with our caregiver team as often as possible. For Halloween we loved having caregivers come into the office and enjoy some decorated cupcakes, guess how many candy corn in the jar, along with other food and activities.

Getting Caregivers Off to the Right Start

Each of our caregivers go through our Right Start program. It is a program we put all new caregivers in to help transition them into their roles as a Right at Home employee. During their time on the Right Start they are provided with oversight, any teaching they may need and a little extra support.

As a graduation gift and thank you from this program, our office gives each of the caregivers a George Foreman Grill and a certificate.
