Right at Home Cedar Rapids is Proud to Provide In-home Care for seniors in Marion
Home Care services provided by Right at Home Cedar Rapids are a way to meet the needs of seniors and other adults whose capacity for self-care is limited because of a chronic illness; injury; physical, cognitive, or mental disability; or other health-related conditions. Our home care services assist people to improve or maintain an optimal level of physical functioning and quality of life.
Community Involvement
Right at Home Owner Stephanie Humphries is a Classroom Volunteer with Junior Achievement. Junior Achievement is a nonprofiti organization financed by businesses, foundations, government, and individuals. Founded in 1919, it is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to educating students in grades K-12 about entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs designed to help young people understand the economics of life. Junior Achievement's 237,680 classroom volunteers come from all walks of life, including business people, college students, parents and retirees. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of our organization.

As a volunteer Stephanie assists with teaching concepts of community, civic duties, how different jobs interact with each other to support society, how to manage finances, and basic economics.
Stephanie is currently assisting a 2nd grade classroom at Wilkins Elementary in Marion, IA. which she happens to have attended many years ago!!
Partnering With The Villages at Marion
At The Villages at Marion we offer three levels of care: Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. At Village Place, our Independent Living Community, we provide our tenants multiple amenities but with working with Right at Home we are able to offer them so much more! Sometimes a tenant needs extra help but does not fully need assisted living. Other times they are being discharged from a hospital stay or skilled care and need a short period of extra help. I am able to give Right at Home a call and they will send someone over to assess the tenant within 24 hours and get the services set up! We have multiple tenants at Village Place using Right at Home, and all of their caregivers have been hand selected by Stephanie to fit that individual and their needs.
