- And more…
* For a single veteran.
Right at Home of Cedar Rapids, IA and its professional caregiving team will create a customized care plan based on the needs, and match a caring and compatible caregiver to each client. All of our caregivers go through extensive interviews, background checks and training, and are insured/bonded to ensure our clients get the right care, when and where they need it.
Veterans Care Coordination™ assists veterans and surviving spouses in obtaining the Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit. They simplify the complex process, and can often help to get care started immediately.
Partnership With Iowa City VA Medical Center
Right at Home staff works closely with the nurses and social workers at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center out of Iowa City, IA to provide respite, homemaking, and home health aide services for veterans throughout the Corridor. When we learn a new client is a veteran, we help them learn how our services could be covered by Veterans Affairs and reach out to staff at the VA offices in Iowa City to receive an authorization for our services. At the same time, VA Iowa City is wonderful about referring veterans to us and it is such a pleasure to serve those who have served our country.
