Steve and Carole Luber - Owners of Right at Home of Central Maryland since June 2003
After graduating from Towson State University with a degree in Business, Steve successfully worked for several large corporations. After Carole graduated from college, she worked for several years in Pathology before becoming a stay at home mom to their three young children.
When Steve decided to open the franchise, Carole joined him in the family business. They chose the in home care field after struggling to find care for their own parents. They chose Right at Home after researching the company, and getting to know it’s founder Alan Hager, who shared their passion for helping seniors and adults receive the highest quality care possible. Together, Steve and Carole grew Right at Home of Central Maryland into the largest and most successful franchise in the country. Today, they employ close to 30 full time office staff, including two of their now grown children, as well as over 350 caregivers. When they are not running their thriving business, Steve and Carole are enjoying time with their family, traveling, and spending time at their second home in Sunset Island Ocean City Maryland.

Linda Luber - General Manager
Linda joined Right at Home in 2014 and has been overseeing the operations of the company for the majority of her tenure. Under Linda’s leadership, the company has experienced significant growth and the challenges that come with that. She has performed superbly in managing 3 large offices. Linda says that she is most proud her staff and their commitment to do what it takes to ensure every client has an exceptional experience.
In addition to providing leadership to the largest Right at Home Franchise, Linda serves on Howard County’s Coalition of Geriatric’s/COGS Board and is Chair of the Marketing Committee. During her free time; she enjoys hiking and walking, skiing in the Colorado Rockies and traveling with her husband and son.
Tricia Luber - Client Care Manager/ Office Manager
Tricia began working for Right at Home in 2007 as a companion caregiver while attending college. After graduating from West Virginia University, she joined her family’s business full-time as Administrative Support. Very quickly Tricia’s communication and organizational skills found her overseeing the company’s newest office in Ellicott City, MD in 2012. A heart for seniors while growing up in a family where her Grandparents and relatives were able to remain living at home; in-spite of serious health conditions, always resonated with Tricia. Recognizing her talent to seamlessly show compassion to clients, show leadership skills to staff, and empathy and gratitude to caregivers -- all while successfully maintaining the business side -- led to asking Tricia to return to the larger flagship office of Right at Home in Frederick, MD as their manager in February of 2020. Tricia is happy being closer to her home, her friends, her family and enjoys all downtown Frederick has to offer. This includes shopping, trying new restaurants and strolling along Carroll Creek. She is an avid Baltimore sports fan and loves her Raven’s and Orioles. But greater than sports is Tricia’s love for animals. Her best friend is her sweet Beagle dog, Harper who completes her world and when Tricia is not working, you will usually find them joined at the hip, under a blanket or playing ball outside.
Dorothy Crews - Accounting Associate
Dorothy joined Right at Home in August 2019 and is primarily responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other accounting related tasks. She enjoys helping Right at Home clients and their families with their financial needs. Dorothy has over 20 years of accounting and management experience. Prior to joining Right at Home, Dorothy worked for several major corporations overseeing their Accounts Payables Departments. Dorothy looks for opportunities to fulfill her purpose, serve others, and strive for peace in her life. She believes Right at Home offers her these opportunities and looks forward to growing with Right at Home.
Katie Darr - Scheduling Coordinator/ Office Support
Katie has worked at Right at Home since 2019. Katie works in the Frederick office as our Scheduling coordinator and has worked in healthcare for the last 10 years. She has volunteered with SOAR a non-profit serving seniors in Frederick County. Katie enjoys spending time with her beloved black cat, Zero, family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys long rides on her motorcycle and loves cheering on her favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers! Katie loves working with the team at Right at Home and really enjoys talking with the wonderful seniors each day. Right at Home is her home away from home.
Jordan Smith - Scheduling Coordinator/ Office Support
Jordan is a former Teacher turned Scheduler, joining the Right at Home Team in early 2021. Home Care became a part of her daily life when her Grandfather entered Hospice. Though it was difficult, having compassionate Caregivers made the transition so much easier. In memory of her late Grandfather, Jordan has taken an active interest in helping those who suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease. She is an active member in the Alzheimer’s Association and fundraises for them often. Jordan has a passion for sports and it shows in her weekend job at a Golf Course! Her favorite time of the day is getting home to her 6 month-old Puppy! Jordan is excited to be an addition to the Right At Home Family!
Eileen McLaughlin - Community Liaison
Since 2005 Eileen has worked on helping to build and grow Right at Home’s market share in Frederick Her previous background in sales and business development has aided in Right at Home’s position and quality brand posture in the community. Eileen has successfully bid and won service contracts for The State of Maryland IHAS Contract, the VA, and Frederick Health Hospital. She serves on the ESPC board as Chair of the Governance Committee. When she is not actively promoting Right at Home, Eileen loves reading and spending time with her husband and growing family, most recently her 4 grandchildren, all under the age of 4.
Carmen Long - R.N.
Joining Right at Home in 2020, Carmen came from working on a "Covid Task Force" in Seattle, WA for 10 weeks before returning to Frederick, MD where she works as the Delegating Nurse for Right at Home. Although this role is not as "fast paced" as her previous jobs, this is definitely the job she enjoys the most. She loves to meet new clients and build relationships with existing ones. She appreciates the opportunity to get to know each client and being able to figure out exactly what needs to be done to make sure a client is receiving the best assistance possible. Carmen enjoys working with and training some of the best caregivers in the world. She loves working with people who genuinely care about our clients as much as she does. When she’s not working she loves to just spend time with my husband and little girl. She and her daughter both play soccer and love doing that together. You can look for her in the 2035 World Cup!
Chelsey Lowery - Human Resources Coordinator
Chelsey Lowery has been the Human Resources Coordinator for Right at Home since March 2021. She has been in the medical field since she was 15yrs old working as a CNA/GNA, Caregiver, and Surgical Coordinator for an ENT Physician and Plastic Surgeon. Providing excellent patient care has been a passion of hers. She serves the community in Middletown as a Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician at Middletown Volunteer Fire Company. She is the mother of a young teenage boy as well as twins. Her husband is a Firefighter in Loudoun County, VA and a Lieutenant at Middletown Volunteer Fire Company. In her spare she stays busy with her kids sports and doing DIY projects around the house. Chelsey loves camping and being outdoors especially in the spring and fall, and spending time with her family.

Right at Home Shows Strong Support in Washington D.C.
It was a beautiful day for a walk at the Washington D.C. Moving Event on Sunday, October 16th. Teams from Right at Home of Washington D.C., Right at Home of Northern Virginia, Right at Home of Northern Virginia West, and Right at Home of Central Maryland were all there to help bring awareness to improve care and help find a cure for people with Parkinson’s Disease. More than $300,000 total was raised for this incredible cause. Thank you Right at Home Family for your dedication and support!
