Our mission has always been to improve the quality of life for the seniors and adults with disabilities we serve. That means it's always about the people we serve and our dedicated team of caregivers and office members who work tirelessly to care for clients. We live and breathe our mission every day, with the goal of helping you navigate the journey. These are the people who work to bring you and your loved ones the highest caliber of in‑home care.
Our Professional Staff is the Heart of Right at Home
My name is Dan Boyle and I would like to thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about Right at Home and the amazing team that will be personally responsible for the care of your loved one.
While Right at Home, which began in 1995, provides home care services for hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, we know your concern is about the care you will receive right here in Orange County.
Like all Right at Home locations, our office is a family owned and operated business and dedicated to serving the needs of the local community of Orange County. Regardless of what Right at Home office you’re closest to and end up working with, our mission is the same - “to improve the quality of life for those we serve.”
Dan Boyle, the owner of Right at Home in Central and North OC, has always been guided by this quote by Mike Nolan:
"There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few that will catch your heart… pursue those." - Mike Nolan
Over the past 25 years, Dan's professional journey has taken him through Fortune 100 companies in Sr. Management roles to owning two of his own companies.
After many years of exposure to family members dealing with varying degrees of severity with Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons, Bi-Polar disorder, and COPD, the Right at Home opportunity presented itself and it seemed the perfect fit to apply his passion for helping people.
Although Dan has had a fulfilling career over the years, Right at Home is (by far) the most rewarding, most fulfilling, and most satisfying work he’s ever done.
Dan was born in Philadelphia and attended Rowan University in New Jersey where he majored in technology and business management. In his early 20s, he got married and moved to Southern California where he bought his first home and started his first company. Over the next 20+ years, Dan would sell his first company and then acquire a child care franchise in Laguna Niguel that won awards every year he owned it before selling it in 2006. It was that experience that reset his “care genes” in motion and when Right at Home showed up, he knew it was his destiny.
Dan was introduced to what it meant to have family members in need when he was just 12 years old. His Mom’s sister had Multiple Sclerosis and he was asked to join her and his Aunt on a trip to Lourdes, France. The journey was to find a miracle for his Aunt – a miracle that, unfortunately, didn’t manifest. On this journey, Dan pushed his Aunt in a wheelchair from Hotel de la Grotte’ down to the Basilica of Lourdes every day. It was a life changer, for sure, and set the foundation for what it meant to be there for someone.
Over the next several years, Dan was at the center of health related illnesses that involved bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimers – unfortunately losing 4 family members over a 7 year period as a result of their health challenges.
Although Dan was sad to have lost so many people in his family in such a short time, he found that each of them left him with a different lesson to learn. It’s those lessons that have driven Dan’s focus toward a quality of care rooted in humility and gratitude. He also knows that love, kindness, warmth, and a listening ear will change the life of any family he talks to – whether they become a client or not.
We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
