"Dear Steve and Christina Gettins,

I am the sister of [Client’s Name], for whom Right at Home provided home health care services over the past year up until the time he passed away in April. I am writing to tell you how deeply grateful the family is for the outstanding care provide by his primary home health aides Karen and Crystal, as well as office support, particularly in scheduling, by Ashley and Cindy. Karen was really the mainstay of support during the last year of [Client’s Name] life, providing attentive daily care, appointment management, and companionship as his primary caregiver. Crustal joined the “[Client’s Name] team” more recently, and was a pillar of the evening shift care. Cindy also provided care, at times, in a pinch.

During his final two weeks when he was home on hospice, Karen’s and Crystal’s devotion to him was so impressive. They each were willing to do 12 hour shifts to ensure that in his last few days he was cared for by individuals he knew and trusted, as was his wish. This commitment made a huge difference in the quality of his time in hospice. Cindy and Ashley clearly understood the significance of their commitment, and we are most appreciative of your concurrence that he spend his last days with the caregivers he knew and trusted.

We are happy to donate to Right at Home his wheelchair, basically unused, as well as multiple walkers. I hope the wheelchair will be dedicated as the [Client Name] Two-Hearts Memorial Wheelchair. Thank you again.”
