Heather Lantry, Owner

Right at Home Chicago Metro

heather-lantry-profile-photo

Having all four grandparents and five living great-grandparents as a young child, I have always been drawn to working with older adults. A Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and Master’s degree in Community Counseling led to a successful tenure in hospice care preceding my joining the incredible, service-focused world of Right at Home in 2013. I am passionate about assisting individuals to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible, aging in place with dignity and autonomy, or recuperating from an illness or injury in the comfort of their own home! It is an honor to serve my community as part of the RightCare, Right at Home team. When not supporting the needs of our clients, caregivers, and community, I still enjoy making music, especially with my husband and four children.

Denise Reyes RN, BSN

Director of Nursing

Hi, my name is Denise Reyes. I graduated with my BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing back in 2016. I’ve been a registered nurse for six years now but have been in the healthcare industry for a total of 9 years. I have extensive experience serving memory-care patients, chronically ill patients, and the geriatric patient population. In the hospital setting, my clinical focus was working as a Medical-Surgical floor nurse, so I’ve taken care of Med-Surg, Stroke, Detox, and Hospice patients. My hobbies include reading, running outside (weather permitting), and watching a lot of Netflix. I’m also currently working on finishing up my dual master’s degree program, with the focus on a Master of Science in Nursing- Leadership and Management track along with an MBA degree. I originally got into nursing because I come from a family of CNAs and caregivers. I believe everyone should be able to receive safe and high-quality patient care. My nursing career has given me the opportunity to serve all sorts of patients and has allowed me to be their advocate when they couldn’t advocate for themselves. Joining the Right at Home family has been an amazing experience so far! This new nursing role has provided a leadership opportunity that allows me to continue serving the elderly community in a variety of ways outside of the hospital setting. Some interesting facts about myself are that I have a miniature Shih Tzu Schnauzer who is 15 years old, I love to travel, and I’m always open to trying out new restaurants.
