Raising Funds and Awareness for Alzheimer's Care, Support, and Research
Right at Home Chicago is proud to provide direct support, resources, hands-on training, and education to individuals, families, and care professionals battling Alzheimer's disease. As providers of Right at Home's Cognitive Support Program, we provide the highest level of training to care team members, family caregivers, and health care professionals, as well as world-class care to individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Supporting the fight through fundraising efforts is part of our mission to Improve the Quality of Life for Those We Serve. The Longest Day (June 21st) is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. And it's the day the Alzheimer's Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer's disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support and research. This year we will continue our tradition of The Longest Hootenanny, with Executive Director and Board-Certified Music Therapist, Heather Lantry, traveling through Chicago providing live recreational music in Memory Cares, Community Centers, and Houses of Worship on June 21.
