Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.
Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.

Deborah Hellums, MD
Owner
In 2002, Deborah Hellums graduated from Baylor College of Medicine. Since becoming a physician, Dr. Hellums has sought ways to positively impact the community both inside and outside her medical practice.
During her medical career, Dr. Hellums has walked alongside many patients as they have struggled to maintain independence and quality of life during their battle with chronic illness and aging. In addition, she has listened to the struggles of and supported many siblings, parents, and spouses as they care for their loved ones.
As a physician, Dr. Hellums has a unique perspective about how the medical community can work together and complement each other in the care of seniors. She believes physicians, home health agencies, physical and occupational therapists, hospice, along with in home care companies like Right at Home, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes all play a role in the caring for the senior community in Clarksville.
Dr. Hellums hopes for Right at Home to be a community leader in educating the Clarksville community on aging and topics that are pertinent to seniors such as dementia, depression, and falls.
Hearing the stories of clients and their families and knowing that we are helping in some way to make a difference in this season of life is the best part of her day.
