About Joining Our Talented Team
"To Improve the Quality of Life for Those We Serve"
Michelle Rankine PhD | Owner
Michelle's life journey led her to McKinney, Texas and Right at Home. She holds a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Denver, a Masters Degree in Sports Management & Pedagogy Administration, and a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from Purdue University.
With years of experience and achievements in higher education and sports, Michelle dreamed about owning her own business and being able to help others. She felt a strong calling to serve the community in a more significant way than her previous volunteer work.
Michelle has lifelong experiences as a caregiver for family members throughout the years, and she learned about the physical, emotional and spiritual strains a family can experience when caring for a loved one. Her hands-on experience in so many facets of her life translates to a philosophy of compassion and responsibility, to always do the right thing for her clients.
"I am able to get to know peoples' life stories and able to make a difference in their lives. It's an honor to meet so many people and to help them maintain their independence."
Jeffrey T. Marimat | Home Care Concierge
I'm from the City of Smiles, Bacolod in the Philippines, I'm a registered Nurse and a certified Virtual Assistant. I worked as a Customer Service Representative as well for 7 years on two Telecommunications Companies in the US.
During my day off, you will find me out in the outdoors most of the time, with my mountain bike. I love the challenge, it makes me feel superhuman and best thing about it is it allows me to connect to the natural world and be able to visit places that I never imagined existed.
The reason why I work at Right at Home is Work-Life Balance and the opportunity to be able to work in the comfort of my home, and able to connect to the most amazing people that share a common goal which is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
“Learn as if you will live forever, live like you will die tomorrow.” — Mahatma Gandhi
Clayton Pate | Vice-President of Marketing
I am from a small town in West Texas, raised on baseball and a love for competition. As a college athlete, I am a life-long coach. I have worked in the home care industry for 5 years and have a thorough understanding of the roles and duties required to provide successful care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children and spoiling our dogs.
The reason I work at Right at Home is to honor my grandmother who suffered from dementia. Having a firsthand understanding of the care our clients need and also the care their loved ones need drives me to provide the best service possible.

Courtney Flowers | Registered Nurse
I was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. I joined the Army after graduating HS and served 9.5 years as a dental assistant in Germany, Georgia, and Alaska. I relocated to Texas in 2012 and went to school to become a RN. I have been an ICU RN for the entire 6 years of my career.
The reason I work at Right at Home is for the close relationships I can build with the clients, and for the flexibility the agency offers.
"Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind." — Christian D. Larson
Angela Bradbury | Office Manager
I was born and raised in the Dallas, TX area, and still remain here today. My interest in real life experiences led me to the healthcare industry 30 years ago at the front desk in a Baylor pediatric hospital, with the last 27 years as an Office Manager for a Home Health agency that equipped me with the knowledge and compassion of meeting the needs of our seniors in their communities.
After experiencing the challenges with my own Mom's Alzheimer's Disease, I am grateful and blessed to be working for Right at Home, to establish relationships with our clients, being of service, and providing the appropriate care services needed to help individuals and their loved ones to remain independent in their home setting.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, church activities, opportunities to travel, and experiencing new things in life.
"With God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26.
Miguel Garcia | HR Admin
I was born and raised in the City of Biñan, Philippines. I used to head a dialysis unit and had to work with multiple brands to put up the unit. My passion is traveling and meeting new friends along the way.
I really enjoy working with Right at Home. I get the opportunity to talk to great people around the area and help them start on shifts. I love how enthusiastic our applicants are.
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men" Colossians 3:23 KJV
Mario Mair | Community Liaison
Born and raised in Jamaica, I have always been passionate about cars and sports. Following my college years in Miami, I returned to Jamaica, dedicating several years to the heavy equipment and trucking industry. However, I decided to take a leap of faith and returned to the US, where I found a meaningful opportunity at Right at Home in the home care industry. This field holds personal significance for me, as I have experienced the impact of Alzheimer's and dementia through my own family. Witnessing the advanced standards of home care in the US, I aspire to one day apply this knowledge to elevate home care practices in Jamaica.
Janet Ballard | Community Liaison Collin County
I was born and raised in the Dallas area. I was a teacher for 28 years and retired in 2023. Most of my teaching years were spent in kindergarten. I knew I still wanted to work and feel blessed to be part of the Right at Home team! It’s the perfect fit for me because I love helping people! Being in this industry is very near and dear to my heart. I have always loved seniors and volunteered at the nursing home where my grandmother lived for 7 years. My mom now lives with the devastating Alzheimer’s disease. In my spare time, I love to take my mom to the movies and to get ice cream. My husband and I enjoy taking our Golden Retriever on walks, traveling, and watching sports.
