Right at Home Collinsville is locally owned and operated by David Eustis. Our purpose is simple, to provide the very best in-home care for the elderly, and others in need, within Madison, Monroe and St. Clair counties in Illinois.
This is accomplished by:
- Recruiting, training and developing quality caregivers who share our vision for excellence in service to our clients
- Discussing and understanding our client's specific needs, in an open and compassionate manner, which allows for the development of a customized care plan
- Continuing the dialogue with client / family members during service so that the care plan / services provided are adjusted as the client’s needs change
- Providing leadership in senior care within southwestern Illinois
"Our business is predicated on developing a strong partnership between client, family and caregivers. We’ve therefore incorporated into our business model multiple tools to ensure an open and engaging communication process throughout the period of care services. Ensuring that all parties engage in these tools greatly enhances our ability to deliver quality care."
Our main office is located at 1 Regency Plaza Drive in Collinsville. This facility is our hub for recruiting, hiring, and training our caregivers, the pulse of our business. All caregivers are direct employees of Right at Home Collinsville, and as such have had criminal background checks conducted, and are fully insured and bonded. In addition, each employee participates in training prior to serving clients, as well as ongoing training within Right at Home University
David brings to Right at Home Collinsville serving southwest Illinois over thirty years of management experience within both the retail and nonprofit sectors. For the past sixteen years he served as the President and CEO of HeartLands Conservancy, a regional, environmental nonprofit serving southwestern Illinois. It was in this position that he gained a deeper understanding and level of experience in guiding a mission-based organization. He is proud to be able to bring this mission-based model to Right at Home Southwest Illinois
In 1998, David was involved in a tractor accident which caused him to lose one leg, and much of the function in his second leg. While the accident was unfortunate, it did serve as a life-lesson towards understanding the needs, both physical and emotional, of those individuals who have, or are in the process of losing some of their mobility, or ability to care for themselves. He looks forward to sharing this unique insight with both caregivers and clients.
“Eighteen years ago when I needed home care services, they simply weren’t readily available within southwestern Illinois; a situation which placed a great amount of stress on my family. I remind myself daily how blessed I am to now be in a position to council and be of service to others in need within this region.”
When not leading the charge at Right at Home Collinsville, David resides in Waterloo with his wife Tamara. Daughter, Emma Nicole, is currently finishing her business degree at The Ohio State University. The family enjoys spoiling their two dogs, an English Springer Spaniel and a Red-Fox Labrador Retriever, who is currently in training as a working dog (wheelchair assist). David is a very passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Syracuse University basketball and The Ohio State University football!
Care Coordinator - Terrie Teyloe
Terrie brings over 20 years of healthcare management to Right At Home of Southwestern Illinois. After graduating from what was known as Belleville Area College, now SWIC, Terrie gained clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant initially focusing on inpatient, orthopedic and neurology, but after a hand full of years found her place in the specialty of geriatrics. Her love of her patients was also met with a natural ability and desire to be a leader and mentor among her colleagues. Terrie began a journey in rehabilitation management in the Central Illinois and Metro St. Louis areas that spanned over 20 years. She gained experience managing rehab departments as small as 3 therapists to managing an entire region which included 10 long term care facilities and over 100 therapists.
Why Terrie Chose the Home Care Industry:
In 2013, Terrie had the opportunity to experience, from a managerial and clinical aspect, the importance of the continuum of care while working at The Apartment Community at Our Lady of the Snows. She became aware of the desire of people to remain in their independent living apartments, or their assisted living apartments, as well as the increasing need for assistance to do so safely. Terrie has also seen the important role and responsibility that family and friends play in keeping people happy and safe in their homes as they age and knows that home care can be a quality extension of their care.
Why Terrie Chose Right at Home:
Terrie felt like she had an immediate connection with owner, David Eustis, and his passion for the industry. Right At Home places huge importance on screening, orientating, training and rewarding their staff that Terrie knew this would make a perfect environment for hiring the best caregivers to meet the needs of the clients.
