Sarah Mast, Owner / Administrator

Sarah became co-owner of Right at Home Colorado Springs in January of 2020 and continues as the agency Administrator. She has been with the agency since December of 2016 when she transferred back home to Colorado from Arkansas. Prior to joining our team, Sarah worked in state government program management, completed regulatory audits for licensing requirements, and consulted on compliance issues. These experiences have provided her with a strong knowledge base in policy and procedure writing as well as program development.
With a focus in business management, Sarah's studies have included policy development, regulatory compliance and national accreditation standards implementation. Sarah lived in Guatemala during her formative years and is fluent in Spanish. She volunteered as a Spanish interpreter with several non-profit organizations and enjoys using her knowledge to help others. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, Sarah enjoys "getting outside" every weekend and is always planning a new adventure.
Michelle Kim, RN, Director of Nursing

Michelle is our Director of Nursing and has been with the team since 2018. She started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked hospice for the first year of her career. She moved on to get her LVN license working hospice, peri-operative, and home health as well as Nurse Consultation. She received her Registered Nursing degree from West Coast University, going into fields such as Peri-operative care, telephonic triage and home health.
In her free time she does Zumba, Dachshund meets ups, as she has two longhaired Dachshunds who love on her 6 year old son, Dominic. She has lived in Colorado Springs since 2009.
Roberta ‘Bert’ Besser, EMT, CNA, CPC, Office Manager

Bert is our Office Manager and has been with the agency since 2016. Prior to working with Right at Home, she led an impressive career in both the military and civilian worlds. She served five years honorably in the Army, and spent over 20 years in the senior care industry. She started as a Dietary Aide at a rehabilitation center, and earned her Certification as a Nurse Aide shortly after discharging from the military. After all these experiences, Bert has found her passion helping the older generation. Bert is a lifelong learner. She earned an Associates of Science in Business Administration at Georgia Military College and Bachelors in Psychology at Troy State University. She holds certificates and licenses as a CNA, Medical Coder and EMT. She continues to work on furthering her education by completing her MBA in Healthcare Management.
Melanie Rice CNA, Client Care Coordinator

Melanie is out Client Care Coordinator. She joined the Right at Home team in October of 2019. She has been a Certified Nurse Assistant since 1992, working in Long Term Care, and also Assisted Living Facilities as a caregiver and also in management. Melanie enjoys working with the elderly population and listening to the stories of their youth.
She is a mother to 4 children and a grandmother of 9 grandchildren.
Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys the great outdoors, fishing, gardening, and enjoys driving the mountain trails to see the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
Nathan Mast, Marketing and Recruiting

Nathan came on board with Right At Home in August of 2018. Nathan has a strong background in sales as well as management of personnel and schedules, these job duties have equipped him with the skills he needs to fill the need of strong administrative support. Nathan discovered a passion for helping people in need while doing work with the hard of hearing. He felt he could do more, and decided to make the move to home health care.
Outside the office, Nathan loves be around people, playing games or sitting around talking. He enjoys hiking and dabbles in photography. He loves spending time with his 3 year old chiweenie (Chihuahua Dachshund mix).
Krysta Geary, CNA, Scheduling Coordinator

Krysta is our Scheduling Coordinator and joined the team in November of 2019. Upon leaving the Military, she entered the healthcare workforce as a caregiver. She is also a full time student majoring in Pre-nursing. Krysta loves working in the healthcare field and hopes that her education and skills will help families and the community as a whole.
Outside of the office, Krysta enjoys spending time with her child and dog exploring the outdoors and traveling in and across the state to play softball.
