Proud to Provide Home Care Services for Veterans

Right at Home Columbus is proud to provide services and resources for the veterans in our local communities.

Respite Service

The respite program provides companionship and homemaking care to veterans when a family caregiver needs to be away for work, appointments, or personal rejuvenation. Veterans are typically allotted 30 days of respite care per calendar year (up to 6 hours per day).

Customized Care Plan

All veterans receive an initial in-home assessment performed by one of care managers, and ongoing quality assurance and reassessment visits.

Veterans are given a customized plan of care to be being followed and an assigned caregiver is reviewed for a good match from both a skills and personality perspective.

Please contact Right at Home if we can answer any questions or help you through the process of requesting VA home care services!

Veterans Aid & Attendance

As a Veteran, you made sacrifices for our country. You were there for us when we needed you, now let us be there for you. Many Veterans are unaware of the Veteran Aid & Attendance benefit. This benefit allows qualifying Veterans, and surviving spouses, the ability to receive benefits to pay for home care.
