Our People

Our owner, Pembroke Pines resident Sidney, has been a life long entrepreneur, having started his first business at age 18. Living with his disabled mother, Sidney serves as her primary caregiver. With her living with his family, Sidney's mother gets to see her grandchildren often and interact with them. Sidney said that his experiences while caring for his mother helped him realize that there are opportunities available to him within the home care industry to help the aging population.

Outside of work, Sidney has indicated that family is his number one passion. He loves spending time with his kids, his wife and his dog. He also enjoys playing racquetball and tennis.

Geetu has been with our Right at Home Dania Beach office since 2015 and is our Accounting Manager. In this role, she works with the billing, payroll, Quickbooks and accounting.

Geetu's parents struggled with aging and seeing and experiencing this made her realize that there are many other seniors going through the same challenges. Her parents taught her the values of doing good in the world and helping others in need, and Right at Home has helped her continue carrying out those values.

Angela joined our Right at Home office in 2019 after being her husband's caregiver for 5 years and a stay at home mother. In her role as Care Coordinator, Angela works on scheduling and ensuring care plans are being met, plus matching clients with caregivers that best fit their needs. She loves coming to work everyday knowing that she is helping others and seeing a smile on the faces of our clients knowing they have one less thing to worry about. Seeing the effect on her family with her grandfather diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the beginning of Dementia, it inspired Angela to work in the home care field.

In her time away from the office, Angela enjoys going to Key West for a relaxing weekend of camping, fishing and kayaking.

John joined the Right at Home team in 2020 and is the Director of Business Development. John is a Nursing Home Consultant, Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist and Adjunct Lecturer with over 20 years of experience in healthcare including work experience in skilled nursing homes, acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, outpatient, and home health. Over 10 years of experience as a Regional Director of Operations overseeing rehab departments in multiple skilled nursing facilities. John’s mother required a personal care aid while in the hospital after suffering a stroke resulting in her being taken off a restraint protocol and being discharged home where she is currently living independently. John enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf, tennis, and softball.

My name is Hilda Calero and I am a registered nurse with a strong passion for providing compassionate care.

In 2017, I successfully graduated with my nursing degree. Throughout my career, I have garnered experience across various specialties, including medical-surgical, oncology, stem cell transplant, and dermatology.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, I strive to uphold the highest standards of patient care and continuously expand my knowledge through ongoing professional continuing education courses.

My passion for nursing was ignited through a personal experience at a very young age, and since then, I have worked diligently to acquire diverse experiences in different healthcare settings. As a home health nurse, I am committed to providing exceptional care, assisting patients on their path to recovery, and always strive to make a positive impact in their lives.
