Home Health Direct Care Paraprofessional Service Award
Melanie Robins, a certified nursing assistant with Right at Home in Ogden Utah, Owned by Art and Judy Smith Received the Home Health Direct Care Paraprofessional Service Award from the Utah Association for Home Care. The award was presented to her at a luncheon in Sandy, Utah on December 9,2015. Art nominated Melanie for the award.
The award is available to many home health aides, certified nursing assistants, home makers and personal care aides working through out the state of Utah. To be eligible for the award, nominees must have made a substantial contribution to the home health and hospice industries with their clients. In selecting the recipient, the UAHC Awards Committee considers the following:
- Personal initiative and job performance
- Response to patients/Clients
- Ability to work with fellow employees, supervisors and the public
- Establishment and/or promotion of home health and hospice services
The UAHC is dedicated to providing quality healthcare and services to patients in their place of residence and support for their caregivers. The organization also lobbies on behalf of home caregiver agencies in the state legislature. Most home health, hospice and personal care agencies, including Right at Home, are members of the UAHC, which is headquartered in Salt Lake City.
