Our Mission

Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.

Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.

Meet Chris and Maria Campbell, Owners

Chris and Maria Campbell opened the Bucks and Montgomery County office of Right at Home in June 2005. Their  fundamental belief is that life needs to be less complicated, including homecare. Chris’ role is to ensure that Right at Home provides every client with the best possible experience, making sure that our agency delivers great care while being easy to deal with. To ensure Right at Home fulfills this commitment to our clients, Chris and Maria have assembled a highly competent management team and empowered them to take whatever steps are necessary to meet our clients’ needs.

Chris graduated from Rutgers University and received his MBA from Drexel University. He spent 10 years in the Pharmaceutical Sales industry ( 5 years with Bristol Myers and 5 years with Perdue Pharma). He is a Certified Senior Adviser and a Dementia Live Instructor. Chris has been married to his lovely wife and business partner Maria Campbell, RN, for 30 years. They have two sons.

Home Care Was Personal and Life Changing for Chris

My mom’s mother was very independent and the matriarch of our family. When she started to show signs of Alzheimer's, her children struggled with her refusing care. When she finally agreed to get care, it was Deborah, a caregiver, that helped me and my brothers understand what was going on and what to expect.

The Right People and The Right Approach

Providing care for your loved one starts by having the RightPeople. When we hire caregivers, we ask ourselves one simple question: "Would I want this person caring for my mother or father?" If the answer is "No" we don't hire them. We are fortunate to work with caregivers who want more than a job; they want to make a difference in the lives of those in their care. It is our job to make sure our caregivers have the right tools and that we provide the RightApproach to make them successful.

Our People

Our dedicated and professional staff have roots in the community and decades of health care experience that are woven into the care we provide to families and loved ones. Meet the experts who help make it happen.

Right at Home Jenkintown Earned a Zero-Deficiency Survey with Pennsylvania Department of Health Three Years in a Row

Home care agencies are required to obtain a license to operate in the state of Pennsylvania. The responsibility to verify compliance with state and federal health and safety standards falls on the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The department conducts regular on-site surveys to assure health, safety, sanitation, fire and quality of care requirements are met.

Right at Home of Jenkintown has received Zero Deficiencies during the State Survey three years in a row. We credit the success in achieving this accomplishment to our diligent staff, particularly our Human Resources Manager, Alice Schrader.

Having Zero Deficiencies means that we met all the requirements of our licensure as a home care provider in the state of Pennsylvania. The requirements to achieve such distinction include detailed client documentation and care to employees. We are proud to not only meet the requirements, but far exceed the state expectations.

Our Philanthropies

Right at Home’s mission is “to improve the quality of life for those we serve,” and expanding our mission to serve others around the world is truly a pleasure. We support many organizations that help people live independently.

Free Wheelchair Mission

Globally, an estimated 70 million people with disabilities have no access to a wheelchair. Those who cannot walk must crawl or be carried to their destination. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than 1 million wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 93 developing countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient.

As an organization, our work with Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2016 as we looked for a partner that would help us further our mission of improving lives worldwide. To date, our team’s efforts have raised more than $400,000 that has funded over 5,000 wheelchairs, which were distributed through life-changing Vision Trips to Vietnam, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

Josiah’s House

Over half of the children living in the Dominican Republic live below the poverty line and can be found on the streets in at-risk surroundings in order to make money. Josiah’s House runs family-style homes that provide vulnerable boys and girls with the basic necessities, education, life skills, and family home atmosphere needed to succeed.

Recently, 70 Right at Home offices came together to support Josiah’s House by supplying everyday items for the children of Josiah’s House. The group delivered suitcases full of clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, and other supplies.
