Owner, Melanie Delgado

For both Melanie and Edward caregiving has been a constant in each of their lives. Through personal experiences and their catholic values call to help those in need therefore operating an Adult/Elderly care business was a natural fit. Melanie spent many years helping care for her Nana, Edward has spent the better part of 10 years supporting and caring for his mother. They both have experienced the need for home care support from Edward’s grandmother on hospice due to cancer and Melanie’s godfather/uncle currently in hospice due to Dementia. Melanie recalls “my Nana was 80 when her legs were amputated, it’s almost impossible to teach an 80 year old to live independently in a wheelchair. As a family we struggled to find adequate care for my Nana and that experience permanently impacted many relationships within the family.”

 

Through these life experiences, Melanie has gained a deep understanding of the need for home care from a families perspective. She is very passionate that families and their loved ones deserve the best quality care, care that provides the upmost respect, dignity and compassion that she expected for her Nana. Melanie is dedicated to ensure that her Right at Home team will provide that level of care to your loved ones.
