Our People

Here at Right at Home, we're dedicated to being much more than a franchise company. We are the navigator of what comes next for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our mission has always been to improve the quality of life for those we serve.  That means it's always about the people we serve, and our dedicated local owners and their professional teams work tirelessly to care for clients. Though we make sure our franchises live and breathe our mission every day, we recognize that it starts with our corporate team.

These are the people who work behind the scenes to bring you and your loved ones the highest caliber of inhome care.

Tyson and Ili Johnson

Owners

Tyson, a native of Tacoma, Washington, met Ili, a native of the beautiful Fiji Islands, while working in the tourism industry in Fiji. After starting their life together in the islands, they moved back to the U.S. to be closer to Tyson’s aging parents. They saw first hand the overwhelming needs of aging adults in the communities of Gig Harbor and Kitsap County and set out to create a business serving the aging in these communities. It didn’t take long for their business to go from a business opportunity to a vocation. In 2011 they opened their office and have been honored to serve their community. Together with their backgrounds they make a unique duo both at work and at home!

Community Partners Heart of a Social Worker Award

The Social Work Service Department certifies that Right at Home consistently demonstrates thorough commitment to our veterans and a set of core values embraced by social workers throughout the profession's history. These commendable values include service to others, pursuit of social justice, maintenance of dignity, and unconditional integrity and compassion.

"While it is an honor to receive such an award, the real honor comes in serving our Veterans. Teaming up with such a caring and dedicated team of social workers at the VA, in particular, the Home Health Aide and Respite programs makes what we do possible.

Mother Teresa when asked about her work with the poor and sick in the slums of Calcutta said, “Our work is about making someone feel like a somebody.” Far removed from Mother Teresa’s ministry and the slums of Calcutta our work too is about making “someone” feel like a “somebody.” In fact, our Veterans deserve our best!" - Tyson Johnson, Owner
