Celebrating Summer in the Community!

Seems like summer was a long time coming this year, but here we are, finally! We've made it through the graduations with all their pomp and circumstance, and are getting ready to send those kids off to college. Looking forward to long, lazy days by the pool, barbecues, concerts on the lawn, and lunching on the patio. What are your summer plans? Hope your are spending time with the people that are important to you, and that you are using the longer days to reconnect with the outdoors. For those of you who may be challenged with caring for your loved ones, remember, we are right here ready to help. Right at Home Indianapolis North is dedicated to providing care and respite for families in need, and our amazing caregivers can help you and your loved ones enjoy all those summer events. Give us a call.

Marion County Council on Aging

Marion County Council on Aging Crestwood Village East speaker

Crestwood Village East hosted the last Marion County Council on Aging meeting on May 2nd. Speaker Tom Galullo of Nettworth Financial Group educated us on the slippery slope of when to apply for Social Security. Such helpful information! The Marion County Council on Aging is an organization committed to educating the public, and improving the quality of life for older adults in Marion County, providing funding for home and community-based services for Marion County residents age 60 and older, regardless of income. Their goal is to coordinate and develop a comprehensive program of local resources and services to best meet the needs of Marion County citizens. Get involved with your local county council on aging to see how you can help! Visit the CICOA website for more information.

Hot Dogs and Bean Bag Baseball

What a fun day we had at the annual Beanbag Baseball game at Northridge Gracious Retirement Living. Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness and his team gave it their all, but still lost to the Northridge Kickers. What a great way to kick off the summer!
