We are Better Together!

When we join forces in our communities we can do amazing things. Together we can lift and support others, whether it is by giving of our time, our strength, or our finances. In April, Right at Home Indianapolis North, joined forces with CICOA, Indiana Parkinson Foundation, and Heritage Place to help raise awareness of those in need and to raise funds to help provide resources. Together we see results. With each individual contribution we create the momentum of giving that can change the world around us. We hope you will join us as we continue to work for change, to work to help those who cannot help themselves. It takes all of us. Together.

CICOA 10th Annual Signature Breakfast

CICOA 10th Annual Signature BreakfastCICOA 10th Annual Signature Breakfast The Central Indiana Council on Aging (CICOA) is a force to be reckoned with, providing help for thousands of people every day in our surrounding communities. It is an organization that consists of individuals providing countless hours of service to the elderly and disabled. We celebrated their amazing efforts at the CICOA 10th Annual Signature Breakfast in April.

Thanks to the efforts of people like Mayor Joe Hogsett, RTV 6 Rafael Sanchez, and countless volunteers and donors, they raised a record-breaking $168,657!

Choose to Move Race for Parkinson's

Seventh Annual Choose to Move Race for Parkinson's Runner Racing for Parkinson's The Seventh Annual Choose to Move Race for Parkinson's was a huge success, with numbers exceeding expectations. Families ran to support their loved ones, and we all joined together to have fun and celebrate hope and possibilities for curing Parkinson's. Right at Home Indianapolis North client Stephen Rott accomplished his one mile walk, and we are so proud of him! Congratulations Stephen! Thanks to Indiana Parkinson's Foundation Director Kim Williams for all of her tireless work.

Heritage Place is a community resource in Indianapolis for seniors, providing education, fitness classes, funding and support. We attended their 12th Annual Wake Up to Heritage Place Breakfast to help raise funds for their amazing contributions. Right at Home's Colleen Card had fun meeting local celebrity Patty Spitler host of Wish TV's Great Day TV and Pet Pals TV, as well as her dogs Stewie and Mabel. And what a privilege to meet Ladies of the Dance member Odessa Higginson on her 93rd birthday! What a great show ladies!
