The Right Care for Your Senior Loved Ones

Look at that face. This face represents the wonderful seniors Right at Home has the privilege of caring for every day. Ruby is the widow of a WWII veteran that served on the USS Indianapolis. Her husband was reported missing in action, and she was expecting their first baby, a baby he never had a chance to know about. Our seniors have lived amazing lives full of rich experiences, happy times and sorrowful times. Let us not forget when we look at these faces that they deserve the best because they have given their best. Honor them, care for them, and remember that they are treasures.
We want to help you care for your treasured loved ones. We can help you help them to stay Right at Home, surrounded by family, where they belong . Our services can help you spend more quality time with your loved ones and find time to rejuvenate your mind and body so you can manage the tasks you face every day. Whether it is for a few hours a day of respite, or for more advanced care needs, we can help. Let us be part of your family.

September was such a busy month for us! One of our favorite events was with our Northridge Gracious Living where pilot Darryl Fisher of Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation treated some of our veterans to a flight in a WWII Boeing Stearman Biplane. Some of our friends were there to help, including Shawn Vanmeter, aviation mechanic and representative of Indiana Warbird Baseball. Look at the smiles on these faces!

Dementia Friends Indiana
At Right at Home Indianapolis North we are excited to be members of Dementia Friends Indiana, an organization that works to help create dementia friendly communities by educating the public. Our staff has participated in training to help us better understand dementia and learn how to better serve our families with this disease. We attended the kick off for Dementia Friends Central Indiana at the Harrison Center in Indianapolis. We met lots of people dedicated to helping this cause, including some enthusiastic members of the Carmel Fire Department
.
National Constitution Day Naturalization Ceremony
Right at Home Indianapolis North had the special honor of attending a naturalization ceremony for our good friend Janzia Martin. It was a privilege to see her recite the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States. Over 100 new citizens pledged their loyalty to the U.S.A at the Indiana State Museum after Judge Mark Dinsmore spoke. So moving to watch each person so eagerly join the ranks of U.S. citizen
