$14.00 - $17.00 an hour – Part-Time and/or Full-Time (DOE)

Right at Home, with its office in Issaquah WA, is seeking quality certified caregivers to provide in-home care and assistance to our clients, enabling our clients to live independently and with dignity wherever they call home. We are looking for caring and competent candidates to join our growing team and assist our clients with their activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Our licensed caregivers provide piece of mind to families knowing their loved ones are being taken care of in a safe, loving, trusting and caring environment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, respectful and dependable.

Job description:

  • Ambulation assistance
  • Bathing/showering
  • Continence care/toileting
  • Personal hygiene/dressing assistance
  • Transfers
  • Provide companionship (emotional and motivational support through conversation, encouragement, and recreational activities)
  • Household chores/light housekeeping (which include, but are not limited to) – changing linens and laundering client items only, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, garbage, cleaning (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen)
  • Transportation services (e.g. running errands, grocery shopping, personal shopping, doctor appointments, social outings)
  • Meal preparation and/or assistance with feeding

  • Licensed/certified (per WA state standards)
  • CPR/first aid card preferred
  • Food Worker Card (also called a Food Handler Permit a plus)
  • Clean/negative 2 Step TB Test
  • Driver’s license with reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
  • Must pass background check & initial drug screen
  • Successful motor vehicle registry screening (if wanting to provide Transportation services)
  • Effective communication and interaction skills
  • Completion of written Competency Evaluation
  • Must complete 12 hours of in-services annually
  • Must be able to understand (speak, read and write) the English language
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
  • Previous experience as a caregiver preferred (Nurse Delegation a plus)
  • Experience with Alzheimer’/Dementia beneficial
  • Own smart phone and access to a computer is beneficial
