When not working with my team at Right at Home, I enjoy traveling, sewing, reading, and most of all, my three great-grandchildren. I have 46 years’ experience as a nurse ranging from corrections, to hospitals, and home health settings. I love Right at Home because of the caring and considerate coworkers, and the compassionate policies we have for client care.

Vikki Longwell, RN, BSN Assistant Administrator with Right at Home Overland Park

I'm a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Kansas. When not focused on caring for clients and supporting my team at Right at Home, I enjoy traveling, being with friends and family, yoga, and being outside. Prior to a homecare career, I spent 22 years in NICU at St. Luke’s Hospital, and one year at Lab Corp. I find life exciting because there are always new experiences, new challenges, and great people to meet. I've happily lived here in Overland Park all my life.

Vicki Ojeda | Director of Quality Care

Vicki Ojeda, Director of Human Resources with Right at Home Overland Park

I studied business and fashion merchandising before starting in the home care industry in Denver where I worked 10 years. We then moved to Albuquerque, NM where I worked for Lincare and did DME sales. After moving to Kansas I worked for a nursing agency and did staffing after hours for 6 plus years. I then accepted a Director of Operations position for an agency where I was able to utilize my skills before coming to RAH. I love working for RAH for so many reasons which include the team culture, client care and our amazing caregivers. My husband and I have been married since 1999 and have 3 kids Noah, Tristan and Elizabeth along with our golden-doodle Max. I love spending time with my forever friends and taking family vacations. I speak Spanish which seems to help when vacationing in Mexico with my friends. I pride myself on loyalty, honesty and integrity.

Toni Adams | Office Coordinator

Toni Adams, Office Coordinator with Right at Home Overland Park

I have worked in a health care environment for most of my career, holding several positions including physician recruiter, nurse recruiter, and various administrative positions. I love my job at Right at Home because every day is a new adventure, and I really feel like we are making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My greatest blessing is being a MOM to my wonderful boys, Wes, 25 and Zach, 21. My favorite activities include boating, traveling, working out, cooking, reading, and game nights with friends. I have a sweet little 5-pound dog named Bella. I am originally from Kentucky, and graduated from Murray State University where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I moved to Florida after graduating college, and lived there for 10 years before moving to Kansas, where I met my husband Bryan. We have been happily married for 26 years.

Ernestine Lyons | Lead Care Professional

Ernestine Lyons, Lead Care Professional with Right at Home Overland Park

I retired in 2001 from TWA with 26 years of experience. After caring for my mother and my husband at their end of life, I decided caregiving was a strength of mine. I have been a care professional for Right at Home now for seven years. I love to cook for family and enjoy my grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and three wonderful dogs. I enjoy my Right at Home family because we truly care about each other and work as a team. It is all about our clients and care professionals. Outside work I have a busy life with 13 brothers and sisters. I am right in the middle of the bunch, 6 under and 6 above. Everyone says I am the life of the party, which is probably true because I love to make people laugh. A key to life, I enjoy every day.

Kyrie Lynch | Lead Care Professional

Kyrie Lynch, Lead Care Professional with Right at Home Overland Park

I am a Lead Care Professional and I majored in Psychology and minored in Gerontology. I have always loved caring for others and making their day the best possible. When I am not caring for a client or doing support visits for the caregivers and clients, I enjoy trying new restaurants, playing video games, and writing poetry. As a child, I volunteered for nursing homes through the United Way, and then I worked for Goodwill and for a nursing home before finding Right At Home. I thoroughly enjoy what I do every day and hope to continue making a difference in peoples' lives daily.

Sharla Cecil | Scheduling Coordinator

Sharla Cecil, Scheduling Coordinator with Right at Home Overland Park

I came to work at RAH after being in the Behavioral Health Field for 10 years and prior to that was in retail as a District Manager for 20 years. I moved here from Bend, Oregon in 2021 to be near my son and his family. I have two grandchildren, two years old and four years old, and they have me wrapped around their little fingers! I am also fortunate to have an Australian Shepherd and one cat that lives with me. I enjoy my job as the Staffing Coordinator at RAH because of the connection I have with the clients, their families, and the caregivers, as well as making sure they have the care and support they need. Schedules are constantly changing and my position here is never boring!

100%
of our team's focus is on caring . . . caring for our clients, caring for our caregivers, and caring for our community.
